• Mark Beiley SMS not reaching destination

  I am using SmsSendMessage() to send a SMS message. I get HRESULT result as success ......but the message does not reaches the destination . I printed the logs for dest address and smsc address.. that is also correct..What can be the issue Okie, I found the issue .. I am setting smsatAddressType=SMSAT_INTERNATIONAL so phone expects the no only in international format .I put the no with country code and the sms goes fine So partial thing solved ..But the requirement is , user shud be able to put the no the way he wants like +(countrycode)+number or just the number and sms shall work as it happens with native sms application ..So what smsatAddressType shall i use to achieve that I think that the problem that you are facing ...Show All

  I apologize if this is too simple an issue, but I am just beginning a project targeted at smartphones (e.g., Treo 700w). Why is there no button control in the toolbox for these devices I am porting an application from desktop and other Pocket PC devices, and I need the same look/feel on each device; i.e., I need to use buttons. • Bakerboy60 Background Key Press Listener

  Hi again, I just wrote this, and it dissapeared, so I'll write it again and hoepfully it won't turn into a double thread. I basically want to my program sitting in the background doing it's own thing, or just idling about, and be able to press a key and have this key jump to a function (or perform some action) in my background program. I've looked at RegisterHotKey, but from what I understand, this just puts a message into the message stack. I would rather jump to a function without having to contanstly check the stack. Even something that triggers when the message stack is added to is fine. I basically want a Java type ActionListener. Anyone have any ideas or direction It'd be VERY appreciated...   Does anyone have any insight as to what is causing the photo uploader not to recognize any photos in the My Pictures folder It shows "No photos in this folder" (when there are) and when you change to another folder containing photos it gives a dialog box " There are images with a new format in this folder. The converter is downloading". Well, there are the typical jpg photos in the folder, and when the dialog box goes away by itself, it still shows "no photos in folder". I've tried the whole reinstallation procedures, clearing cache, removing objects, etc. Every reinstall has the same problem. • massod Unable to change deployment directory to point to storage card!

  i got a Dopod smartphone 577W running windows mobile 5.0. As the available ram in the phone is very limited, i would like to deploy my programs into the storage card instead. So, i fitted a micro sd card(1gig) into the phone and it was detected correctly. when i go to properties tab of VS2005 to change the 'Output file folder (generated)' directory, i found that i wasn't able to modify that field as it was masked out! • Radith VE 3 and MS Ajax Updatepanels - problem with map redraws on update panel updates

  I'm using a VE map and a gridview and formview wrapped up in an update panel to allow me to update some georeferenced photos. I tried it first without the update panels, and it all works fine, but the map redraws each postback (and the postbacks happen a lot during editing). So I slapped an update panel around the grid and form view, in the hop that the map wouldn't redraw, which would make it much more responsive. The trouble is that the map does infact refresh each time the update panel redraws, which is not what I wanted. Ideally, the map would just stay as it was each time the update panel fired, and a 'rebind' points clientside function would call the webservice which redraws the points when the underlying data changes.
