  Hi, I own a Dell Axim 5 I haven't been using for 2 years now. For some reasons, I need a mobile device again as well as develop for it. I just upgraded to Vista and by re-installing my Axim, I notice that the now current version is Windows Mobile 6.   Hi ..I was building a .net project by using vs2003 smoothly..I could deploy the solution on my Datalogic smart-device ; everything (including active-sync ) was perfect.. But 2 days ago, took the smart device away from the craddle while the project was still deploying. Since that time, I can't deploy my project on the smart device..I have tried installing windowsCeAddOnv1.1, installing ports.reg, deleting desktop crypt; uninstalling activeSync, and also reinstalled the vs2003. I still cannot deploy the solution on the smart device ; although I can connect to the device by active-Sync..   I know there's a few thread on this but nothing there is working. I'm using VS 2003, ActiveSync 4.2 and Symbol MC3000 device running on Windows CE. Everything was working fine for like 3 months and then this problem occur when I want to debug on the device... Error: Cannot establish a connection. Be sure the device is physically connected to the development computer. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling ActiveSync,  ProxyPorts and  DelDesktopCryptKey...and none of those worked. • Andreas Asterlund Help with ppc 2003 and a dll.

  ok so, i have a dll that was written by another programmer here and, when he updated the dll to have more useful functions in it. i removed the old version and, since referencing the new version of the dll, i get a loadexception with the comment: found conflicts between differenct versions of the same dependant assembly any ideas what i need to do to get this working again i am writting a ppc 2003 app in vb.net 2005. anything will help !! i removed the old dll and any instance of it from the registry before and after trying to add the new version of the dll. • Sen_p_kumar CAsyncSocket calls OnConnet(0) when the connection fails

  I am porting an MFC application to PocketPC that uses the CAsyncSocket class. I was able to make it connect successfully to the server. However I have the following problem: If the server is not reachable or the server is not started, the OnConnect(int nErrorCode) is called with nErrorCode==0 (like on a successful connection). This is a problem because my internal state thinks it's connected, but obviously it isn't. Has anyone experienced similar problems with the CAsyncSocket Is there some sample code available for a client CAsyncSocket application on the PocketPC That would help me to find the problem. • llebron Problems with LifeCam VX 3000 software

  I`ve just purchase a LifeCam VX 3000. The software loads okay. I then click on the LifeCam icon on the desktop to start the program. But when the window opens nothing works when I click on them. To close the window I have to shut it down in Task Manager. Sometimes the window will open but all I get is the hour-glass icon which never stops. Again I have to shut it down through Task Mangager. The webcam works fine in Skype but I can`t get the software to initiate. I`ve installed the latest software from the Microsoft website.   I have tried to create a small multiuser test activity using the MSN Messenger Activity SDK. I have successfully created a local XML file for the messenger directory. I have also succeeded in inviting another user to participate in the activity and is redirected to the HTML page deployed on my local web server. So far so good! I want to implement some of the activity functionality as a Java applet but where the applet should be displayed there is only a grey area (as if the applet is not initialized properly). When I access the Java applet directly using a browser it works perfectly. Is it not possible to embed a Java applet in the HTML to be embedded in the MSN messenger activity window How can this be acheived ...Show All

• Quimbo Custom Layer Past Zoom Level 17?

    Hello people,    I have set up a custom Tile Server to serve up some Hight Detail tiles as a custom layer: I have set the VETileSourceSpecification.MaxZoom property to 18, as my TileServer can produce tiles at any magnification.  It all works fine at normal zoom levels, but once I soom past Zoom Level 17, where VE Tiles stop - then there appears to be just vast amounts of grey/gray Anyone have any ideas on how to allow VE to render my custom layer at a higher zoom level   I don't care if the normal tiles don't display.  All I need is for my custom layer to render. e.g. //Add layer tileSourceSpec = new VETileSourceSpecification(); tileSourceSpec.ID = "HighDetailLayer" ; tileSourceSp ...Show All
