  Hi. I am using VS2005/VB.Net and CF2 to write an application for Windows Mobile 5 Smartphones. At a point within my application I need to stop the device from timing-out and returning to the Home screen and/or turning off the display. Within a timer (firing every 5 seconds) I P/Invoke SHIdleTimerReset to stop the device returning to the Home screen. This works fine. The device no longer times out and returns to the Home screen. However, my test device (i-Mate SP5 with latest available ROM) still turns off the display after the timeout set on the device in Settings - Power Management - Display time out. To stop the display from timing out, I can P/Invoke SetPowerRequirement on BKL1: with a setting of D0. This als ...Show All

  Hi iam using Pidion (BIP 500) using CE NET 5.0. When i try to access Database (SQL CE 2005) in this Device iam Getting a error as Can't find PInvoke DLL 'sqlceme30.dll'. I tried the same application using EMulator its working well out there but only when it's run in the device its giving me the error. I tried to create a new SDF File using Query Analyser and it gave me a error as "Failed to Intialize the Provider. Please Make sure the SQL Server Mobile Edition is properly Installed" Anyone can guide me on this issue.   I've been hacking at this problem for a while, and I'm sure tis been doen a thousand times by now by others but I've only just started playing with both PostGIS and MSVE so Its really messing with my head. Basically we have a several databases full of statistics for geographical locations which could be represented as polylines or polygons and actually both will have to be used... I'm trying to figure out a way of fetching this data from the databases but I want it to remain as polys for future adaptability. I've figured out the code in VE that would select the area and hence the queries I need from PostGIS but I just cant figure out how to join the two things together.   Hi, When i go to Projecto => Add reference i can’t find the System.Data.SqlServerce.dll. Who installs this VStudio or SQLServer I went to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Binn\VSShell\Common7\IDE and added the dll but the following error occurs: The reference to System.Data.SqlServerCE.dll could not be added.   I want to put an icon in the titlebar (next to the clock) that I can click to always get back to my application.  I have seen this done in another application designed by Symbol so I believe it's simply a platform call of some type.   I tried the TCPMonitor but keep getting the "unknown host exception" error. Here's what I did 1) change WSDL's to point to localhost and distinct port for each WSDL (Example: port 50000 for CustomerManagement service) 2) generate classes from WSDL 3) Run TCPMonitor java -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore={trustore location} -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword={password} org.apache.axis.utils.tcpmon 50000 https://adcenterapi.microsoft.com/v2/CustomerManagement/CustomerManagement.asmx 443 TCPMonitor gives the "unknown host exception" for the target host.
