• Seefer Problem-Connecting to sql server using pocket pc 2003 emulator..

  Hi Folks, I am trying to connect my remote sql database using the pocket pc emu. 2003. I am getting the error "SQL Server does not exist or access denied.". The thing is I have ASP. net projects and I connect without any hassle. I have also tried connecting to an online database using the pocket pc '03 emu. and it works....I just don't understand why it isn't working remotely.... • Shawn Rheal Pocket Pc Stops

  my progam works on a win32 console. When i port the same program to smart device ,pocket pc, the program stops on main(). I think main() needs to be changed. Any ideas so close, yet so far away !!! This is my last high hurdle, i hope!!! The rest should be minor cleanup. I rebuilt this machine and nothing changed. I tried using main, wmain, and tmain and the pc locked up at main. I tried changing the entry point, in the configuration fies and the computer locked up at main. I tried resume on main, nothing happened. The problem must be simple, I guess!!!   With Overture, you can set up your destination url's like: http://www.mysite.com/ trackingcode={ovmtc:standardcode:advancedcode:contentcode } Overture will fill the {} with whatever tracking code you specified given whatever the match type was for that impression. This way you can track your ROI at the keyword/matchtype level. How do I do this with adCenter I don't see any way of knowing what keyword the click came from along with the match type. As of right now I am going to stop development on the adCenter API, I don't see the point of integrating it with my ROI tracking software if I can't track it properly.   Hi, I get the following error trying to compile a CF 1.0 targeted application in VS2005: Error 14 Localization of projects targeting .NET Compact Framework 1.0 requires version 1.1 of the .NET Framework SDK, which is not detected on this machine.   I have ported an app from vb.net03 to vb.net 05 for windows mobile 5. 1 issue that I haven't figured out is when you choose a value in a drop down the Text stays highlighted. The problem is if you go to the next form after choosing the value, that value is lost. I have tried changing the focus on the page to another control in the selectindexchanged function but the value goes back to null in the drop down control.   Hi all, I'm currently developing an application using the compact frame work (2.0) to work on a Windows Mobile 5.0 device. I have a BindingList which i'm currently binding to a DataGrid on a form, using the DataGrid's DataSource property. The problem i have is that the columns are mis-sized, and some which i wish to make hidden, are still shown. Now, i've created a function which accepts a DataGridTableStyle and formats the columns as required. However i'm having trouble defining the Mapping Name of the DataSource, which is normally just the table name when i'm binding to a DataTable.   Hi, I'm trying to make a textbox that only allows people to enter numbers - when you press a number it immediately shows the actual number, not the letter associated with it.   In previous versions of Windows Mobile (starting with 2002, anyway), there was a way to programmatically override the install directory for a CAB with wceload.exe by using the /noaskdest command line switch and populating the following registry key: HKLM\Software\Apps\Microsoft Application Installer\Install With WM5, though, that functionality is half-broken. It's not completely ignoring that key, because the CAB file specified there is still installed, but it's ignoring the install directory that's specified there.
