  Hello, I want to exchange data between pocket pc and desktop pc via USB. This works ok but now I want to integrate it into a windows service. When i try to connect to the ppc in the Windows Service I get the message: Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)) I found a lot of things on google but nothing changed ... As app my user is administrator when I change this, nothing happens when the service start, nog eventlog warnings while i placed them I gave aspnet full control over my computer (com security from component services) It worked as a desktop application, now i want it to run as service so I converted it into a service.   I have extended context menu items of windows mobile 5.0 pocket pc. Now If I deploy the same project to smartphone the context menu items remain same. Although dll is deployed similarly all the registries in are there.But the context menu items remain same.   Currently running Windows Mobile 2003, Second Edition version 4.21.1088 (Build 14260.2.0.5) and am not able to display any XML/XSL on the Internet explorer(eg the link below has an example xml/xsl that also wont display).   i can't surf the internet from my pocket pc that connects to my pc through a usb cable or bluetooth connectin while my pc is connected to the internet through a dial-up connection i could do this on windows xp using active sync but now it's not allowed to install active sync on windows vista so please help me your problem here isn't a smart device problem, and certainly not a smart device emulator problem. it's a vista/activesync issue. vista uses "vista mobile device center," not "activesync."   I am curious why the pushpins in all of the Interactive SDK samples are not properly handled. As you zoom in and out on the map, the point that the pushpin is pointing to moves. For example, bring up the Interactive SDK and select Use pushpins->Add a default pushpin from the left menu. A pushpin is placed on the map pointing near the northern border of Nebraska. Now zoom out once. The pushpin is now pointing to the center of Nebraska. Zoom out again and the pushpin is in Kansas! The reason is because it is positioning the center of the pushpin image, not the "point". This is easily fixed with CSS styles, which can be embedded in the HTML sample code.   Does anyone know of a way (or has anyone been able) to get a copy of Platform Builder from Microsoft free or cheep with the understanding that you will not sell any products built with it.   Good morning. I'm having some problems with the PDA app I'm developing. The platform is WM 5.0, CF 1.3 and VS2003. The symptoms I am getting are dependant on code changes but I cannot pinpoint what is causing it. I know the details of this post are quite vague but I was hoping someone would notice the general class of problem I'm having. I am using the OpenNetCf Signature class. All is well. However when I add some (mostly but not entirely) SQL CE code to one of my form classes (I've left out the details here because I'm not certain it's relevant and I can't put my finger on which bit is causing it anyway), the Signature code stops working.
