  Okay, this is a low level question (CSE 100) and I'm not sure if this is the right forum to ask, but... I'm wondering what do you put into your cpp file to tell the function to stop temporarily. As in, you have a cout statment saying like "press enter to continue" (Not the one you get at the end of your program) followed by the program stopping and continuing only after the user enters something. It doesn't take his input and put into a variable or anything like that. It just tells the program to wait until the user does something. I think my teacher said it was system function called pause(), but I'm not sure. Edit: This is using Microsoft Visual Studio Academic Edition and making a C++ program.   ...Show All

• NickUk 32 Bit Apps Not Running On 64 Bit Cpu

  Hi, i got a numerous amount of games and programs not running on my em64t processor, upgraded it up from a 3.0ghz 32 bit, to a 3.0ghz 64 bit, so far it seems like the biggest mistake i ever made, am ready to throw it out the window. Now is there something im missing or what , i cant run my new games i bought, cant return them so i lost money cause of it. i cant run nortons anti-virus program, which is like 90 bucks!!, i cant run spysweeper. Anyone got an idea why none of these things will work. All 32 bit applications trying to be installed on a 64 bit windows and processor.   I'd like to download an image from a server using XML / AJAX. Is there any way I can load these bytes of the image into an array and pass that to the ImageSource of the ImageBrush Thanks.   Hello. I get the following errors when I try to include winnt.h in my code. I tried using the newest sdk as well as the previous release, and both files seem to generate the same errors. This must be a common problem, but I haven't seen the answer. I'm including stdio.h, xlcall.h, windef.h and winnt.h in my code. Maybe I need to include another header. The compiling and the install procedure are successfull, but when i start the workflow i get an ErrorMessage: "failed on start".   I want to have only one instance of WF active at a given point of time. My situation is like this - Assume that currently I am working with instance WF1. Before completing WF1, i need to start the second instance WF2. Now for the 1st instacne WF1, I want to make it in-active. According to my knowledge I can achieve this by Dehydrating the WF1.
