  Where can I find the 2.2 to RC2 schema upgrade scripts for the SQL tracking and persistence services databases I just installed the new 3.0 framework and associated VS extensions for WF and I can locate the new installation scripts but I can't seem to locate any upgrade scripts as specified in the "Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Extensions for Windows Workflow Foundat Beta 2.2 to RC2 Key Changes" document. • Malazar TransactionScopeActivity in WF

  Okay, is it just me, or the implementation of TransactionScopeActivity really realy sucks. Here are the specific downsides - a) A rollback, or any exception for that matter, will cause the entire workflow to come crumbling down to it's knees. In other words, the only way it is really usable, if you always get a commit (get serious). C'mon MSFT, how about a Try Catch Finally Activity b) You always get MSDTC/Distributed Tx, EVEN IF you are working with Voltaile RMs. c) There is something not right about suspending an activity, and then compensating already run transactions on it 3 years later (maybe it's just my discomfort). d) You can't use the activity without having a persistence service in place first.   Hello, I'm using the "bindingRedirect" element in my web.config to allow updates of my workflow DLL without recompiling the website. But I still receive the same error: Could not load file or assembly 'TestWorkflowLibrary, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=c417d4d39ba0d6b2' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040) I built my website with version 1.0.0.0 of "TestWorkflowLibrary". After that I created a version 1.1.0.0 of "TestWorkflowLibrary" which I placed in the "bin" folder of my website. When accessing the website, the above error is shown.   I recently purchased a copy of Windows Vista Business addition. I currently own a copy of Windows XP home edition which is installed. I want to have dual booting operating systems, I have a 120GB SATA 7200 RPM hard drive and a 200GB IDE Maxtor 7200 RPM. XP is installed on the SATA and i want to put Vista on the empty 200GB hard drive. I insert the disk and reboot my computer. When it boots off the CD i enter my key and all that. Then it asks if i want to upgrade or fresh install. I choose fresh install. I click the empty 200GB hard drive and it copys the files finishes everything then reboots.   Is there any inclusion for controls in the future for WPF/e initial release I know there are none in the CTP which is fine but I am curious to know if this will be expected for the first full release or not Reason I ask is I would love to replace our HTML form system with a WPF/e one. but flex2.0 has done well I think perhaps theres some missunderstandings about how WPF/e executes then.   Hello all, I'm currently doing some porting of projects from Visual Studio v6.0 to Visual Studio 2005. A number of these projects are filters that use the DirectShow API, which is installed on the computer as part of the DirectX v8 SDK. While VS2005 is able to update the project files etc. all right, when I try to create the filters, I get linker errors related to the DirectShow library, strmbase.lib. Currently I am using a version of strmbase.lib that was built using Visual Studio 6, and using the project/workspace files that comes included with the SDK.   Is there a way to change the cursor in a WPF/E window I've tried doing it via JavaScript events (setting cursor to "hand" for instance) but it doesn't seem to pick it up.   Hi, For some of the exes of my product, I need administrative privilege. So I embed them in my application with "requireAdministrator". It works fine on Windows Vista and prompts for allow/deny or administrator uname/password as applicable. But the same program has non consistent performance on previous OS versions(XP, 2003 Small business etc). It shows blue screen sometimes for the applications where these manifest files are embedded. One can avoid these blue screens if the embedded manifest file is also present in the same directory as the exe for other OS.   I'm looking for a way to bind a property of a class which is a type used by a dependencyproperty on an activity to a property on a workflow. Say I have an activity that has a DependencyProperty that is an array of type MyClass. Using the default collection editor I'm able to add MyClass items to the array and set values for MyName property. However, what I need to be able to do is bind the MyName property of the MyClass item to a existing member of my workflow. I've tried deriving MyClass from DependencyObject and making the MyName property a DependencyProperty but have not have any success in doing so.
