  I have downloaded Vista SDK in 2 days, the samples which are included in SDK are compiled well, but in some samples when i want to look designer i am getting an error message "Whooops Visual Studio has encountered an error ...." although it is compiling and executing without any problem, one of such samples is "SimpleBinding". What is that problem. Thanks You wan to take a look at WPF (Windows Presentation Fundation) samples so you need the Visual Studio 2005 .NET 3.0 Extension. • laiseng SQL Persistence Service sample working saving orders, states and id's

  Hello.. Does anyone can help me I implemented SQL Persistence Service but i don't understand how with SqlWorkflowPersistenceService i can save orders, states and more in the database that is created TrackingStore. Does anyone have an example of ordering state machine whith SQLWorkflowPersistenceService saving in the database the orders and states I have one example but it doesn't save states in the MS SQL Database. • Law Ninja Getting text out of DrawingVisual?

  I'm playing with Feng Yaun's watermarking sample at http://blogs.msdn.com/fyuan/archive/2006/08/23/715938.aspx It basically creates a DrawingVisual and adds it to a page's children collection. Later on, I can enumerate the page's collection and get back my DrawingVisual. What I can't figure out now is how to get the actual text that I drew into it. From the DrawingVisual, I can get the DrawingGroup and DrawingChildren collection, but none of these have anything that remotely looks like text. Maybe I'm misinterpreting what the original DrawText into the DrawingContext does, and it's really just storing a bitmap (meaning, later changing the watermark would be a little tricky).   Hi, I'm a little bit confused with this new System.Transactions namespace. I was able to understand its propose, but it looks like it is the replacement for EnterpriseService (ServicedComponent) when all you want from COM+ is the transaction coordination. I'm about to start a new project and I have to decide how to architect the components.   Hello. First let me say that I'm new to COM. So if I'm doing something blindingly stupid, please just say so. I'm trying to write a plugin for an application with a COM interface. I've implemented the IComponentPlugIn interface, and set it's ComVisible attribute to true, and assigned it a GUID. It works great after I found the check-box for 'Register for COM interop'. But now, whenever I try to give it to someone else, I can't seem to get it to be recognized. RegAsm.exe seems to be generating the registry keys for it, but then the program acts like it can't find the assembly.   One of our modules is an executable that will always be run as administrator (after getting permission from user). One of its screens allows the user to run a different executable, which the code currently does by CreateProcess. The problem is that since the first process is running as admin, CreateProcess has the second process run as admin also. This is undesirable because it is a security breach (the second process can open browse dialogs that should not have admin privileges in this scenario).
