  I am using a script component to create the output buffer dynamically. I use the Outputbuffer.AddRow() call. I then set all the fields I want, and its added to the output and later inserted into the database. If a field value fails it causes an error, but the record is partially inserted upto the point where the set field command caused the error. So if I set 10 fields, and it fails on field 5 it inserts data for the 5 fields that worked and nulls into the others. As a result I have a try catch clause, and if it fails I want to cancell the addition of the new row.   Hi I am looking to output a wsql query to a destination user variable of type object (OutputType being a data table). I am then looking to use Foreach Loop container to go through the output. I am using ForEach ADO Enumerator in the ForEach Loop container. The issue that i am having is that the variables used for the mapping in the Foreach Loop container all need to be of type object. If i use anything else i get the error The type of the value being assinged to variable User::Size differs from the current variable type.   I'm trying to run a package from another package using Execute package task - I'm getting the error: Error: Error 0xC0012050 while preparing to load the package.   Hi, I'm am deploying an application that uses SQL Express and wish to also deploy SSMSE along with it. I have the .msi but I don't know how to get the setup project to deploy this as it does SQLExpress and .Net Framework 2.0. (and I am using VS 2005 SE) There is an MS article on creating "Custom Prerequisites" ( http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms165429(VS.80).aspx ) which speaks to creating product and project manifests. • CGSReddy Remote connection not working using MSSMSE

  Im getting quite desperate and frustrated!! I have installed SQL 2005 Express successfully and can connect to it fine using Management Studio locally. If I try and connect remotely using Management Studio Im getting the old Error 10061 : The machine actively refused the connection! I have set it up exactly as per all documentation and help from the forums. Remote connections is on TCP and Named Pipes, I even have the firewall disabled. Im running it on Windows Server 2003 Standard. Any help would be really apriciated as i have tried everything!!! It's good that you can telnet to 1833. 1434 is UDP port, you cannot telnet to.   Hi, I have a little problem with my barchart. The chart shows negative and positive values and i want a simple vertical black line at 0. But I havent found any solutions for this problem yet that satisfies me. It's a public website with lots of user accounts stored in an SQL Server database. Each user of the site needs to be able to view a report thats specific to them. I've got a page within a website that's hosting a Report Viewer control. The Report Viewer control is configured to use my report, with the URL to the report passing the user's id as a parameter.   Queries are performing much slower on production server - configuration 8 GB RAM 4 CPU and database size 500 MB Same database and application works much faster on development server - 4 GB RAM 2 CPU and copy of production. Compared one of the most important query and found - both servers are using different query plans - cleard the cache - Compared all settings of sp_Configure - they are all same. Same version of patches. Same edition. Production it takes 18 seconds and dev/test it takes 1 second. Production has awe enabled - thats only enviorment difference.
