  I have Vista Ullimate x64 English. ODBC don't have drivers for Jet.OLEDB 4.0. Only available drivers are SQL Native Client and SQL server All my NET application not working with local data base with follow error "The OLE DB provider "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0" has not been registered. " I tried to install Jet40 SP8 64 bit, but it say no install needed because there is a newer verion found on system.   I have a legacy system running SQL Server 7.0 SP4, and it is automatically backed up using a SQL Server Agent maintenance plan. • Charles Lewis Oracle OLEDB and dates not matching

  I have a ssas2005 cube built from data in an oracle data warehouse. The Time dimension has begin week dates as a key and joins to the fact table Week Begin Date field. Both are built in the dsv using named queries. The cube built fine until we changed the provider to the Oracle provider for OLEDB. Now the cube build is giving an error : "The attribute key cannot be found: Table: Fact_x0020_Service_x0020_Level, Column: WEEK_BEGIN_DATE, Value: 7/3/2005." on the first record. The dates look the same and the properties look the same. I tried converting the dates to character in the queries and the cube builds - but I have a lot of data missing. • Dr.9 Database Issue

  HI, I can't seem to wrap my head around this problem. Hopefully it's a simple solution. I have 2 tables, one called SETNAME, and one called PLAYERS. SETNAME has 2 fields (NAME and SETNAME ID) PLAYERS has 4 fields (LAST NAME, FIRST NAME, PLAYERSID, and SETNAMEID) The two tables are tied together via the SETNAMEID field. My issue is this, how do I associate more than one set to a player, without duplicating the names of the players in the PLAYERS table Thanks Peter Thanks.   Hello! I have a report that I am writing that was displaying perfectly, until I had to add in group totals and "sum" some of the expressions. • Spulit "Override Default" button in Properties->Parameters section

  I wrote a report in Visual Studio with some parameters that I gave default values to in the report definition. I deployed it out to the report server and when I look at the report Properties, Parameters section to see the default values. Instead of seeing all of the default values, I see a bunch of "Override Default" buttons. When you click the buttons, you get a blank text box in which to enter a new value. Someone before me created a report with default values and the parameters section of that report has text boxes with the default values in them.   I want do a comparison with 2 years worth of data: IE: I have a column that is either calendar year, quarter or month. Only one parameter must be passed for this but the preceding year must also be called.   I have a relatively simple cube, with the exception that some of the tables in my data source view are named queries from different databases. Whenever the cube processes, it fails with the following error: Errors in the high-level relational engine. The following exception occurred while the managed IDbCommand interface was being used: Out-of-process use of OLE DB provider "SQLNCLI.1" with SQL Server is not supported.. When I switch the data source to use the OLEDB for SQL Server instead of the native client, it complains of invalid columns in the query (there are no invalid columns in the query, I can browse the data from the designer and run the query successfully).   Hi all, Our production server had a raid failure, which we fixed overnight. This is where the problem started, at least i think. Now all of a sudden(after the server was restarted) i am getting following error, when one of the stored procedure gets executed (I have more then 200 Stored Procedure and they are all working fine) It does not throw error everytime it gets executed, but randomly it will fail. "SqlDumpExceptionHandler: Process 233 generated fatal exception c0000005 EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION. SQL Server is terminating this process" This error also creats a dump file in \MSSQL\Log and logs into SQL Error Log.
