Hi , I need help IN my 2003 pc i got this error when ever try to open any site (The requested look up key was not found in any activation context). any idea I encountered this problem with my IE when it was upgraded to IE7. fripper window handle for active tab
hi folks, when a document completes loading in a new tab, my bho gets notified via DISPID_DOCUMENTCOMPLETE. how can i get the window handle for the tab window i've tried the EnumChildWindows/IsWindowVisible combo but it's not always reliable. it would seem IE7 has the handle but how to get it any ideas I would like to find the tab id as well and was wondering if you could post your code and John's code (and any other code necessary to get this to work). How can I post/upload file using BHO I tried using WebBrowser.Navigate2, but it didn't work. Is it supposed to work or is there another method for that Any ideas Navigate2 will work, if you pass the correct headers and post body. What does your code look like I figured it out. I just passed wrong parameters. Jason D. Camp Document Complete event for multiple frames
Forgive a newbie-ish question. :) I find that with complicated multi-frame pages (e.g. www.cnn.com) I get a document complete event for every single frame. Most of these are ad frames of course. Is there a way to obtain the "real" URL of the site, i.e. www.cnn.com in this case, without having to deal with all the other frames Alternatively is there a status flag that identifies the final frame, or is it safe to assume that the last frame that I receive notification of is the "real" site frame I have also found that with both IE6 and IE7 I occasionally never receive a document complete event for the "real" frame, in other words I get a dozen or more ad-based frames and nothing else, and yet the site correctly ...Show All
Forch OL 2007/Vista RTM Search not working
If I enter a search query from within OL 2007 (using the all items) I don't get matches except my Exchange account. I have several other PSTs and Public folders. I have them all checked in options, set things to search all and also have unchecked the quick results. If I enter the same search in the search box of the File Explorer in Vista, I get all the matches. Ideas Using Vista Ultimate RTM. I've been having the same problem with my pst based email. However, my pst files are stored on a Windows 2003 server. They always have been and this was not a problem for versions of Outlook prior to 2007. I want to write an IE extention that can prevent image from being displayed. I know that when I got the DISPID_DOCUMENTCOMPLETE event, I can walk the DOM object of that web page and set the image object to invisible. But at that time the image has beed downloaded, Is there some solution that can prevent the image being downloaded Thanks! Kitek_06 Problems with IE 7.0 and secure webpage Https://
Is there a fix or a patch for problems with websites that have secure and non-secure information on them. What I am encountering is that, when I navigate to a secure website the, the secure part of the site (where you log in) does not populate on the page! Any ideas on how to get around this. I did try the User Agent String Utility,but it does not work I encountered problems with secure and non-secure content and just made sure that all the content in the page was secure. I found that mostly it was images that were causing the error, so I needed to request them through https. Hope this helps. Pure Krome problem with IE7 - links suppose to open in the same page but it opens a new page in my website
Hi i'm designing this website using dreamweaver 8, i used frameset method to devide the page into 3 frames top frame which contains the flash navigation menu, left frame which contains ads , right/content frame which contains the content of the website. when the user click any of the links on the menu it should be opened in the content frame , it worked fine in IE6 , but when i upgraded to IE7 things changed every link now opens in a new page! this is the flash code i'm using in each link getURL("../services_en/services_en.html" , "content"); content is the name of the frame that i wish all the links appear in. i've tried the <base target="content"> included in the head tag of the menu page but that d ...Show All
