  Hello guy, You know those link like, goto Top or goto Section2 in the same page. I wish to my page to scroll up 3 lines after the page jumped to the target. My problem is that I need to scroll up 3 lines after an anchor is reached. Meaning I want to scroll up 3 links after I jumped to #youranchor. I have a DIV header on top. If I don't scroll up 3 lines, after I jumped to the #anchor, my content will be blocked by the DIV header. This can easily be solved using frames, but I want to keep everything in one page. • hula_samvaad WDS 3b2 - file type list is truncated

  On one of the machines where I have installed the second beta of WDS 3, the list of file types on the advanced page stops at "mda". No extensions below that in the alphabet even appear, nor can I add them manually (when I do so, it seems to work but the the added extensions doesn't stick - the next time I open the file types setting page, it is again truncated). Running on XP home SP2 - and by the way, all the registered file types show up properly when viewed from the menu in an Explorer window. Thanks for any help This sounds like an registry issue. • Libol SIMPLE instructions to REMOVE Windows Desktop Search

  I have written to MS without receiving a simple, non-MIS/IT description of how to remove this horribly intrusive add-on, that installed itself DESPITE clicking on DO NOT INSTALL. So (and without getting into the politics of who is behind this), all I want is the easy way to remove this program. I have gone into Add/Remove Programs and YES, clicked on Show Updates, but there is NOTHING clearly identified as Windows Desktop Search. • galbox20 IE7 Certificate Request/Enrollment

  With IE7, I've noticed the original ActiveX method of generating a client certificate request and installing the signed certificate no longer work (xenroll.dll calling CreatePKCS10() and acceptPKCS7()). How do you do this now with IE7. Vista customers with IE7 don't even have access to xenroll.dll. I have been unable to find much documentation on this change, only that the old way was replaced with "something new", but no details on what the something new is called.   I have created an icon file 16 by 16 and uploaded it to the top directory. I have also added the link tag. <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" /> The icon does not load if I use www infront of the domain name. If the www is miss off the front the icon loads. Can anyone explain why, and is there a solution why this is happening, since it does not occur on other browsers. I guess it depends on the temp_files. at least the favicon appears on the site but i tried it next day and it doesnt appear. also i asked my friends, they could not see it also. i think the problems comes with microsoft. • Gravy Changing "Shrink-to-fit" printing default in IE7?

  Is there a registry change that can be made to change the default from Shrink-to-fit to 100% so I won't have to go into Print Preview almost every time I print from I.E.7 I too think the Shink to Fit is a nice feature, but not all the time. How can you change the default Did you know that Outlook Express is a Broser app and now uses IE7's print engine. So often when I try to print a wide email it is being shrunk to an unreadable size!! • mt2 Unable to initialize the filter host process

  Installed WDS and Outlook 2007. Everything works fine. Uninstalled WDS. Installed it again from the Outlook 2007 prompt. WDS refuses to index. Essentially, the index dialog says that there are 2 items left to scan but it never completes. Instead, I get the following events in the Windows Event Log. Meanwhile, my Outlook search is not functional.   I'd like to uninstall my windows desktop search but can't find it in the add/remove programs. How can I uninstall it I would also like to uninstall Windows Desktop Search and am unable to locate in "Add / Remove Programs".   I have Visual Studio 2005 on my workstation and I have installed Commerce Server on the same workstation. However, when I open Visual Studio and try to create a new Commerce Server project, the templates that the Commerce Server documentation says is supposed to be there isn't there.   Good idea Joe! Okay, I'll go first.  I'm using Vista RC1 full time now.  The computer seems quieter--doesn't take so many trips to the hard disk for VM paging.  I find going back to XP an unpleasantry, so I think Microsoft is succeeding here. Glass is nice.  I think the performance is what I expected it to be on an Intel Advanced Graphics card (Dell Dimension 9100).  Office 2007 is also pleasant to use, but they stil have some cleanup work to do on their UI.
