  • Barzot How we can integrate Commerce Server with BizTalk Server through adapters?

How we can integrate Commerce Server with BizTalk Server through adapters Rakesh, The easiest place to begin learning this sort of thing is on MSDN.  I'll give you the link to the section on working with Commerce Server's BizTalk adapters: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms962756.aspx This should give you a concise architectural overview and walk you through some basic implementations.  If you have more specific questions regarding something that you don't feel is adequately addressed in the aforementioned documentation, please feel free to post on the community again for additional clarification. Last August I wrote an article for the TecNet website that should help get you started. http://www ...Show All

  • themadprof Zune and the iPod

I've been following the Zune announcements fairly closely here at work. If you follow my blog, you'll see that I'm pretty passionate about media technologies, and recently went through the pain of migrating away from iPod/iTunes and onto Yahoo Music/Gigabeat S (Portable Media Center). Here the blog category where I talk about it: http://blogs.msdn.com/joemorel/archive/category/13772.aspx Now Zune is in the mix. It looks pretty neat, but I'm not sure if people are really going to go for the whole WiFi thing. I'm just not sure that I want to listen to the same music as the person sitting next to me on the bus. What do you think Not that it answers the question of availability, but there are EB Games and Gamestops in the US.& ...Show All

A portion of the Microsoft community is upset and cannot access certain emails that require explorer because, among other things, third party cookies. Can you suggest me a working example that may lead me from scratch towards end while using commerce server adapter. I am desperately in need of such example as I have searched out a lot over web but couldn’t find any working example in which commerce server adapter has been used i am asking about biztalkintegration with moss2007 and that webcast is all about biztalk2006 integration with cs2007 There's a webcast at http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/comm/2007/webcasts.mspx that shows how to set up a basic message flow. ...Show All

  • ChKa propertiesToReturn

I have added the propertiesToReturn to the webconfig and referenced a property that I added in the Catalog Schema manager. This works as expected in all areas of the site except Search. If I put one of my custom properties in the string then Search returns an error (and no longer works) - all other parts of the site work however. If I remove my custom property from the string then Search works normally. This is all being done within the latest starter site. Please Advise. I am not using the Adventure Works catalog. Also, keep in mind the the PropertiesToReturn field worked properly if I used the Navigation Control to get to the product list, my images showed, it just fails when using the ...Show All

  • DmitryMS Testing whether a Coupon Code (Promotion Code) is valid before applying it to a basket.

Coupon Codes come in a variety of flavors: Private Public Restricted We can use the PromoCodeDefinitionManager and the LookupPromoCodeDefinitionByCode( string promoCode) function to test whether a Promotion Code exists ( != null ). However; just because a promotion code exists does *not* mean it’s valid. For example: A Coupon Code can have: a limit number of uses, an associated user profile, or both. A valid Coupon Code with a limited number of uses and an associated user profile would have to be validated against something like the following: If Promo Code exists If Promo Code has uses remaining If User Profile EQUAL TO the Promo Code mapped current User Profile Validate True As far ...Show All

  • George. Convert Money value to its Textual Representation

Code Competition I had answered a post Convert to letter format a number value and provided a response that went counter to the logic of the threads up to that point. The two code examples provided to the poster used enums. I posted with a title Enums make me E-Numb and provided a code sample that use no enumerations. One of the other poster's code sample was .Net but based on a previous process he had written in a non .Net language. He commented that he had run my sample and after 100K operations mine was four second faster. He requested that I add some features to the code and repost so he could retest. I accepted his request and that is what this is...a place to post the code away from the original post so it does not become an OTP fro ...Show All

  • Keyth IE7, OE6 Printing problems with headers

Having an intermittent problem printing To: From: CC: Subject: Attachments: headers on emails. Usually happens with larger emails or emails with large attachments or emails that have been replied to or forwarded from other people. Have installed Generic/text printer and sent the email to this printer but sometimes the headers are still missing even printing this way. I have if I open the offending email and highlight just one or two words in the text of the email eg Dear John and then print the email using my HP printer (not as text on Generic printer) - the headers then print and so does the selected words. Don't suggest using Outlook as often we only print the first page of emails as we already have the rest of the email on file especial ...Show All

  • ASL no BeforeNavigate2 event on page refresh

Hello Folks, Apparently there is a workaround for there being no BeforeNavigate2 event on a page refresh can anyone point me to the solution On a related note, is there an event or object from which I can obtain the url to browse to, prior to the Beforenavigate2 I am assuming not, and that this is the most immediate source of the url before the Navigate is kicked off. Thanks! Graeme Unfortunately IE doesnt fire BeforeNavigate2 and DocumentComplete2 when the page refresh is clicked. • .net sukbir Using Vista?

Good idea Joe! Okay, I'll go first.  I'm using Vista RC1 full time now.  The computer seems quieter--doesn't take so many trips to the hard disk for VM paging.  I find going back to XP an unpleasantry, so I think Microsoft is succeeding here. Glass is nice.  I think the performance is what I expected it to be on an Intel Advanced Graphics card (Dell Dimension 9100).  Office 2007 is also pleasant to use, but they stil have some cleanup work to do on their UI. Who else is using Vista   Brian Is Vista noticeably slower than Windows XP SP2 Is it faster, for the matter Did anyone tried to code something (in Visual Studio .NET) on Windows Vista If anyone did, ...Show All

As it stands, due to My Documents being redirected and other files being stored on network locations WDS 3.0 isn't much use in a corporate environment.
