• ECHS BACHS Howto stop Windows Desktop Search

  Hello, Does anybody know how to stop the Windows Desktop Search from indexing from the dos prompt Problem is: my users connect with a mobile office card through a VPN. Outlook is setup to download only the headers but the indexer forces Outlook to download the whole message including attachments etc. If I turn off the indexer, only the headers are coming in. So I want to kill only the indexer but not the whole Desktop Search so they can still create searches of which is already indexed.   I have pretty simple question: How to customize the context menu of the Internet Explorer in BHO I see 2 possible solutions: 1. via ICustomDoc::SetUIHandler. It seems to be wrong solution because if user has more than 1 such extensions, only 1 extension will work, because chaining is impossible. If I'm wrong, let me know please. 2. via some work with registry. It seems to be correct solution. But in this case I have to write JavaScript code.   I've been scrounging around online and thought I might be able to get a definitive answer here. Currently, I have Napster-to-go with my Dell DJ. The DJ is on it's way out the door, and I'm looking at getting a Zune. Will this Zune subscription thing for 15 bucks a month allow me to transfer music to the player itself, or is it simply to let you listen to music on your computer In other words, will there be something like napster-to-go that works with the Zune TIA! • Boris Mueller IE7 the culprit? outlook express hotmail problem

  I use OE6 to archive my hotmail locally via dial-up until I installed IE7 and then I'm requested to logon when synchronizing my hotmail folders. I have not been able to logon yet and synch my mail. I also have McAfee security running and have disabled it to see if the connection is being firewalled to no avail. I just need to know for sure if hotmail is no longer available to OE users or there is an easy fix to restore what was a very handy facility. Help! Afew minutes after I posted this I found KB907942, an obscure update that Most Magnificent Microsoft has for just this problem. I will repost if it doesn't work. Well ...   Till yesterday our deployment involving the Commerce Sever Catalog and Orders adapters were working fine inone BizTalk application. But now we getting this message: The Messaging Engine received an error from transport adapter "CommerceServerOrders" when notifying the adapter with the BatchComplete event. Reason "Object reference not set to an instance of an object.” This tells us nothing. However there have been 2 recent developments on the server which could have led to this scenario: A second Biztalk application was added and it is now referencing the first one through a Biztalk application reference.   I've been following the Zune announcements fairly closely here at work. If you follow my blog, you'll see that I'm pretty passionate about media technologies, and recently went through the pain of migrating away from iPod/iTunes and onto Yahoo Music/Gigabeat S (Portable Media Center). Here is the scenario: User is on a page of our application, in his/her main browser window, and decides to edit his/her preferences.
