  Hi everyone! I'm trying to create simple browser buttons, but I'm not familiar to developing anything but web pages that's why I need your help. Could you show me the source code (in C++ or C#) of a browser button that would perform some javascript code, i.e.: <script type="text/javascript"> alert("Hello world"); </script> Also I've found that IE toolbars and browser buttons can be installed from .msi and .exe files. Could you explain me the difference between them. Thank you! P.S.   Any idea when WDS 3 will be able to search pdf files Also as previously mentioned, the list of file extensions to be searched stops at the letter "c". Suggestion: The results window wastes too much space on the header stuff. You have the normal explorer toolbars and then below it toolbars for WDS. This should be minimized as you have done for IE7.   I've been following the Zune announcements fairly closely here at work. If you follow my blog, you'll see that I'm pretty passionate about media technologies, and recently went through the pain of migrating away from iPod/iTunes and onto Yahoo Music/Gigabeat S (Portable Media Center). • Evan Mulawski ADM File for WDS 3.01 not Working

  Hi, I have run the installer, copied the extracted folder and located the desktopsearch30.adm file. When I import this into GPMT I cannot locate any of the settings within the User Configuration area. I was expecting it to be User Configuration\Adminstrative Templates\Windows Desktop Search or similar. I have imported the MSN Search Toolbar ADM without any problems and straight away the settings were viewable.   I have just completed an install and configuration of CS2007. I can load the catalog web service in a browser but when I invoke a method I get, "Failed to perform the specified catalog operation because the current user is not authorized to perform it." I have created the CatalogWebSvc account, given it write permissions on the store xml file, set the CatalogAppPool identity to it, added it to the IIS_WPG, added it to the CatalogAdministrator role in the Catalog Store, and made it db_owner of all the DBs in SQL. • Pockey Custom and Orders Manager crash

  After I add a credit card to a user's profile and then I try to open the user's profile in the Customer and Orders Manager, it crashes. If I debug it, the error is: A property value provided in the profile XML could not be persisted to the underlying data store. Validation of the property value failed. Profile Type = 'CreditCard' Which is odd, because this used to work fine. The only thing that I recently changed that remotely might affect this is I extended the orders system by adding two weakly typed custom properties. These are working fine for me.   Hi everybody, The situation: A multilingual site based on the CS2007 starter site. The localized pages are displayed according to the starter site logic (mainly using the browser culture pref for anonymous users and what's defined in a cookie for authenticated users) The need: I'd like to get all my pages indexed by google and co (in all the languages supported by the site) The question: As spider don't handle cookies and only use one culture in their http headers, I guess the solution is to add links somewhere on the site to pages localized in other cultures.   Dear developers, I've made a small application that uses WebBrowser interface. It fills a <textarea> with some text content. With IE7, when I change the property "value" of the IHTMLTextAreaElement, I get this exception: Access violation at address 00669BE1 in module [Name of the EXE] . Read of address 00000000 But the "value" property does change, and the <textarea> content gets updated. Strange, isn't it The next times I try to change the "value" property, no exception is raised.   I just spent hours searching for an addon that simply manages sound within the browser, to no avail. I'm amazed that nothing like this exists, and even moreso that there doesn't seem to be a demand for it at all.   When I go to uninstall windows desktop search it pops up a message saying that it found these programs, then lists the programs, and at the bottom says "uninstalling windows desktop search might cause these program to not work properly".
