  What a Horrible experience has been using IE7. First I can't put more bars in the same row as the address bar So I get a incredibly big address bar and loose a lot of screen. Other problem is that toolbars dont stay in the place you put them. They keep moving even if you lock the toolbars. • Paarul WDS and Preview Generation

  Has anyone tried re-creating the "preview pane" seen in windows desktop I've played around a bit with the example sdk for wds and getting results returned, through out this this forum I have seen people have issues with being able to do things with the results once they found them. (entry id's encoded, etc... some of the responses have been extreemly helpful). On a computer with Office 2003 installed, the document opens in the IE browser window. With Office 2007, the document opens in Word.   Hello, I am trying to figure out how to get shipping rates including the price and MaxLimit (the data from ShippingRates table). I can get the shipping method data by using the ShippingMethodHelper.GetShippingMethod() method, but I can not figure out to get the child data from ShippingRates table. Please help.   Having an intermittent problem printing To: From: CC: Subject: Attachments: headers on emails. Usually happens with larger emails or emails with large attachments or emails that have been replied to or forwarded from other people. Have installed Generic/text printer and sent the email to this printer but sometimes the headers are still missing even printing this way. I have if I open the offending email and highlight just one or two words in the text of the email eg Dear John and then print the email using my HP printer (not as text on Generic printer) - the headers then print and so does the selected words.   I'm building a workspace application for my client base to use in their own Office Live sites. It holds extra data for my clients' projects that are associated with particular opportunities. For example, the workspace includes XML parts lists and JPG design images, each referencing an Opportunity ID in the WebBCM. This works nicely in-situ - I have a Dashboard for this workspace that allows me to select the relevant Opportunity and show the associated design images and renders the XML parts list through XLST. What I'd now like to do though, is for my clients to be able to share the images with each customer. The customer should only be able to see the images that are relevant to them.   Hey all! IE7 on WinXP and WinVista are having inconsistent display issues with a couple of sites I'm working on. I have already viewed the sites in FF 1.5, FF 2, Opera 9, and the latest Safari, and they all work flawlessly. It is IE6 & IE7 that have the issues. I understand the IE6 issue, so am only concerned about the IE7 issue. The IE7 issues are identical in both OS's.   hi all, I would like to use WDS 3.0 through programmatically for searching word document contents. So, I am querying sytemindex with System.Search.Contents as the Where clause. My questions are: Does WDS using the "Indexing Service" (which is already available in the system) What is the difference if I manually configure my target folder with available "Indexing service" and query directly without using WDS SDK For me its easy to query the WDS component (thru OleDb)  than querying the indexed file directly.   Hello! I upgraded my working WDS2 to 3 as Outlook 2007 asks me about it. I left my laptop at office for a night but at next morning nothing was found via WDS3. C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\Windows\GatherLogs\SystemIndex contains 2Mb gatherer log. When I tried to start Indexing Snap-In I received Snap-In Creation Failed, so I tried to reinstall Indexing Service from Add/Remove Windows Component. Installation Wizard completed succeffully, but status of Indexing Service component is Not Installed anyway.   I updated all of our systems last night and this morning I was suprised when I went to our FAX server and discovered 50 some odd print dialog boxes. After some investigating, it seems like OLECMDEXECOPT_DONTPROMPTUSER is no longer working(one of my applications sends nightly status reports to customers, it renders them in HTML and uses IE to print out to Server 2003's FAX printer). Upon clicking "Ok" 50 some-odd times, each one FAXed correctly.   I've just downloaded Windows Desktop Seach, and it has indexed around 51 000 items. I've checked all my settings several times, and all seems OK according to the Help Menu. But whenever I type in a Search word, I get a message saying Search Complete - no items found. At the beginning, I did not ever get a message saying installation of the programme was completed. And I wasn't asked to reboot. Do you think that it may be that the programme was not correctly installed (Web search works fine - get directed to Google Search, with results listed.)
