willem van gennip No Outlook in WDS
WDS 2.6.6, Outlook 2003 SP2, XP Tablet SP2, SBS2003 domain This station has 'E-mail and all hard disks' and 'E-mail and My Documents' greyed out, only shows Outlook Express under Custom Folders and e-mail locations, not Outlook. Other stations on the network work fine. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Office, Outlook, WDS, but it still does not recognize that Outlook is installed (Otlook does show as the default email under Internet options and on the start menu). Before I wipe the machine and reinstall the OS/Office/WDS, is there anything else to try Unless someone else has a suggestion, then the answer seems to be to reinstall XP/Office/WDS Did you ...Show All
Scott Boyd IE 7 - scrolling jumps
Is there a default setting I can change in IE7 that will stop the jumping when I try to scroll using a mouse wheel It's almost as bad as what I see when I'm connected remotely to another machine. Thanks, R. Hill I phoned Microsoft and they said that the IE7 version (not beta) will be available on the 18th of this month - this Wednesday. I went back to IE6 until then. They said all the bugs should be worked out by then for the new version. Also she said to reinstall the software for your mouse and see if that helps. Hope this helps. I think I will wait a few months before installing IE7 to make sure all the bugs are out. Well, I guess I won't be downloading the new release because I can't stan ...Show All

Hi, I've found the tutorial on adding buttons to the IE toolbar (http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/browser/ext/tutorials/button.asp), but it doesn't cover how I can add a dropdown menu button to the IE toolbar. Is this possible for an extension Or do I need to add my own toolband in order to add a dropdown button I'd rather not add a separate toolband, just to host one or two buttons to IE. vavtnen Banning from a forum?
Hello, I would like to know how does a ban from forum works Does the server ban the ip address But doesnt the ip address always change I would appreciate any help on understanding this matter. Thanks. It would be hard to ban a specific computer. With network address translation (NAT) on a gateway, all packets one computers sends to the Internet are translated back-and-forth by the NAT--which essentially masquerades as the other computer (delegates, or proxys). This usually happens for all computers behind that gateway/firewall. For security reasons the IP addresses of the actual computers behind the firewalls cannot be known. In most cases the IPs of those computers are invalid outsid ...Show All
Saitham8 17 pixel top-margin without asking for it in IE7
Hi all, I'm currently working on a phpWebSite themes series called "HyperSpeed" (see HyperSpeed Theme ) and found a little strangeness with it in Internet Explorer 7. Not sure where to post it, so please feel free to move it somewhere else. In FireFox 1.5 and Opera 9.1, the themes look the way they should. But in Internet Explorer 7.0, I get a gray margin of 17 pixels height before the actual content which I don't want. There used to be some kind of Internet Explorer warning about a needed plugin there (which I don't understand as I'm not using any embed-statement). Apparently, I've clicked that away, now only the gray area is to be seen. Here's how it looks in FireFox 1.5: And here's how it looks in Internet Explorer 7 (note t ...Show All
