I just can't work this out. I've tried everything, looked at others source code, I cannot work this problem out. Basically, I want the 'content' DIV to be on the right of the navigation, text-aligned to the center, and pretty much overall looking neat. I've tried numerous things to try and get it to work, but it just isn't happening. VoiceOfExperience How get WDS 3.01 Outlook 2003 to index Contacts, Calendar etc.
I am a previous user of Lookout for Outlook 2003 that allowed me to search all of my appointments for keywords in the subject line along with many other functions. With Microsoft's acquisition of Lookout and it's subsequent development of Windows Desktop Search, I decided to try the latest version 3.01 of WDS for searching Outlook Calendar, Contacts, Tasks etc on a new computer I am setting up. Only problem is that I can't get the WDS search to work for Calendar, Contact items. Have it working for email and regular files, but not the more granular stuff. I have tried all of the functions I can find in "Windows Desktop Search Options" to add the Calendar and Contacts data files to the index list but none seem ...Show All

I recently switched from ASP.NET 1.1 to ASP.NET 2.0. I'm not sure exactly why, but my HTML tables (which are just html tags, not server-side tags), are looking kind of strange. v1nc3ntl1 ASP sessions terminate prematurely in IE7
Hello all, For some reason, if I log in in my (classic) ASP application since having installed IE7, I am wiped out after about 4 minutes or so, meaning that some session variables must have been blanked. Apparently the ASP session cookies cease to exist, which makes me unhappy, knowing that my visitors are steadily upgrading to IE7. Another cookie-oriented problem is that for one reason or the other, all cookies are wiped out on a more or less regular basis, even if they are told to stay alive for at least 24 hours. This happens almost randomly / erraticly. When I was still using IE6, I had none of these problems. Very sure about that. I am currently on XP-home and using IE7.0.5730.11. Tom Rixom IE7 ile download replaces spaces with underscore (_)
First post here so hello to all first of all I have a question which i cant seem to find an answer for no matter how hard i search. Basically, i just want to turn off the functionality that replaces the spaces with underscores when downloading a file from IE7. I would think it is possible but i just cant find the answer. Roman S. IE7 and Right Click Menu
I have an IE explorer bar which makes use of a Right Click menu option. The right click menu option is implemented the usual way by creating a new key under HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt\<menu text> and this menu is pointing to a file in the local file system. This file is basically a VB Script file which parses the highlighted text passed down to it from the browser and uses that text as a query parameter to lauch another URL from the server (using external.menuArguments.navigate(url)). My Explorer Bar captures this navigation, stops it in the main browser and relaunches it using IWebBrowser2.Navigate so that the URL will show up inside my Explorer Bar rather than the main browser window. ok guys I have tried everything to publish my new web browser on to my site.... thanks spotty for all your help.... much appreciated.... I think my isp is not configured for click once.... I have clicked a thousand times to no avail....... so I am wondering if there is some other way to post my application... Mr_White I can't believe most Windows users don't know how to use toolbars, OMG.
This is most irritating. Almost all of Windows users in my company don't know how toolbar works. They don't know they can enable toolbar, take out toolbar, customize toolbar, and not even the simplest of all, move toolbar around. Toolbar is so simple, standard, and flexible. And yet, they don't know how to use it. And now, I think that's the main reason why IE7 doesn't support moveable toolbar, and that pisses me off even more. Argh. I remember when toolbars first started coming out, they were a real pain in the arse if you accidentally moved things around and lost "icons" for features you wanted to use. Aamer Snap-in failed to initialize
Since uninstalling WDS 3.0 Beta from my computer the indexing and search services do not seem to be working properly, if I go to start>search>change preferences>with indexing service>change indexing service settings (advanced) - I get an error message - Snap-in failed to initialize Name:Indexing service CLSID:{95AD7....} followed by another message - Snap-in creation failed The snap-in is not created, it may not be installed properly. Also if I look under start>all programs>administrative tools>services>windows search service - I find the service has not started and if I attempt to start it manually I get this error - Could not start the Windows Search Service on Local Computer Error 1613: ...Show All
Randude C# IE toolbar: how to use ShowBrowserBar to make the toolbar initially visible?
Hi, As I'm programming in C#, I'm using the DeskBand object http://www.codeproject.com/csharp/dotnetbandobjects.asp , rather than the MSDN .net kbbar sample which is written in managed C++. I would like to make the toolbar visible after its installation. Do you know a way to do this I tried to use code like this: Object oShow = true; Object dummy = false; Object vGuid = t.GUID.ToString("B"); // or this.GetType().GUID... Explorer.ShowBrowserBar( ref vGuid, ref oShow, ref dummy); but the problem is: where do I put this code ! If I put it in the SetSite method, it is called when the toolbar is displayed, so too late! Hi, I'm trying to update form Commerce Server 2002 to CS 2007. Now i think i'm pretty far but there are still some problems to solve. One is, that the CatalogWebService isn't available when I want to open ith with the CatalogManager. When i enter straightforward the link to the CatalogWebService.asmx in the Internet Explorer, the Site is loading correctly and shows my some information about the Web Service.
