• Chris4578 WDS 3 - RTW Final not indexing .xlsx file which have ODBC SQL Connection

  Hello, Brandon recommended me posting this problem I noticed in the WDS 3 RTW. Basically the WDS 3 RTW, and (Beta 2) cant index the contents of Excell new format (.xlsx), if the excell contains a ODBC (SQL database) connection. The easy way to reproduce is to, create a new .xlsx file using Office 2007 B2TR, create a ODBC SQL connection to any database/table that you have access to. Save the file and wait for index, it will index the filename but never its content. With the WDS 2.6.5 this problem doenst happen. • smithygreg Unable to initialize the filter host process

  Installed WDS and Outlook 2007. Everything works fine. Uninstalled WDS. Installed it again from the Outlook 2007 prompt. WDS refuses to index. Essentially, the index dialog says that there are 2 items left to scan but it never completes. Instead, I get the following events in the Windows Event Log. Meanwhile, my Outlook search is not functional. Any ideas how to to solve this Some things I tried unsuccessfully include installing/uninstalling, removing teh Program Files/ Windows Desktop Search folder, using RegMon to find what key is causing the issue. • Bijan Switching Tabs corrupts page content

  Using IE7 released version, when viewing the following link in the first tab http://www.networkcomputing.com/channels/storageandservers/showArticle.jhtml queryText=&articleID=184425823&pgno=4 and then opening up some other tabs and browsing around (I went to HP's Small Business Storage site). When then going back to the first tab, the body text collapses toward the left margin into a jumble of letters that are on top of each other. • Derek Comingore InternetQueryOption Unicode change in IE7

  I'm seeing new behavior with InternetQueryOption under unicode in IE7 in terms of buffer size. We use ERROR_INSUFFICIENT_BUFFER to get the correct buffer size, but passing in this value returns ERROR_INSUFFICIENT_BUFFER still. It works when compiled in ASCII though.   alright i've been searching around for a while and still havent found much. does anyone know a way to change the color of the taskbar to some color that isn't XP set, like black iv read up on this and there were 2 solutions, 1,third party software;2,"hack".   I moved my master hard drive to a slave and installed a new master. I was trying to delete fiels off the old hard drive but there is one folder associated with the previous IE7 Beta installation that I can not delete. C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Antiphishing The folder is inaccessible and undeletable. • Chas4 Using Vista?

  Good idea Joe! Okay, I'll go first.  I'm using Vista RC1 full time now.  The computer seems quieter--doesn't take so many trips to the hard disk for VM paging.  I find going back to XP an unpleasantry, so I think Microsoft is succeeding here. Glass is nice.  I think the performance is what I expected it to be on an Intel Advanced Graphics card (Dell Dimension 9100).  Office 2007 is also pleasant to use, but they stil have some cleanup work to do on their UI.   Having an intermittent problem printing To: From: CC: Subject: Attachments: headers on emails. Usually happens with larger emails or emails with large attachments or emails that have been replied to or forwarded from other people. Have installed Generic/text printer and sent the email to this printer but sometimes the headers are still missing even printing this way. I have if I open the offending email and highlight just one or two words in the text of the email eg Dear John and then print the email using my HP printer (not as text on Generic printer) - the headers then print and so does the selected words. • ahmedWebDev IE7 issue with Integrated Windows Authentication in IIS - SOLUTION or WORKAROUND?

  Hi, I've a web application developed in ASP.NET which is hosted in a Windows 2000 server with only Integrated Windows Authentication enabled. This is to make use of Active Directory Services. Now, everything works fine with IE6. But in IE7, I get the Page Not found message. When I checked the headers, I saw the status as 401.1 which, if I am correct, basically is because of some Permission issues. Why do I get this if I use IE7 This above issue is with my Production server. Now, having said that, I've a test server which is also Windows 2000 on which everything works well.
