• Magic PC Windows Vista Gaming Performance

  I just read over on Neowin that gaming performance in Vista will be 10-15% slower in Vista. Can someone tell me whether or not this is true Thanks! - James Things run fine on my A64 3000+ / 6800GT /1GB DDR400.. the ONLY thing I can see causing a lower performance is the theory that Vista uses more memory than XP. 1GB is not enough to do high-perf gaming in Vista IMO because games take longer to load and stutter more often due to page-filing or something. I think memory is the only issue. As for the guy with a 85FPS difference - that is merely something wrong with the display driver... get WDDM drivers for the 7800GT and call it a day.. • R1ZWAN IE 7 won't play mp4's

  Hello everyone, my first post here. I want to make a webpage that will play an mp4 I have. The file will play fine when I use a file:// URI to link to it. However, when using the HTTP protocol to access it directly, it doesn't work. Let me just say I know it's not a problem with the HTTP path, becuase I can point the browser to a .pdf or .doc file and it will open as it should. So my idea was to create an HTML container for the mp4, maybe the browser for some reason had more trouble identifying the mp4 when using the HTTP protocol. But now the html I am using is not working. I use code I got from the quicktime HTML / Scripting guide, just basically copying and pasting, but no go.   I have downloaded the Foxitsoftware Ifilter for PDF viewing.. I have installed it, but I cannot get preview to work :( Anyone get any solutions (i have used thed .PDF; in the preview option ) to use Foxit (i need some of the features of Foxit Reader Pro - so I was verymuch hoping the Ifilter would do the trick) Adobe Acrobat Reader 8 comes with the iFilter. I don't know if there is a separate download for just the iFilter.   When logging on to a server from client machine of LAN I used to give login name and password after enabling remember password option I am not prompted of the log name and password.   I moved my master hard drive to a slave and installed a new master. I was trying to delete fiels off the old hard drive but there is one folder associated with the previous IE7 Beta installation that I can not delete. C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Antiphishing The folder is inaccessible and undeletable. How do I delete it Ending explorer.exe and using command prompt does not work. I don't see "security" when i rhgt click>properties the folder.   Hello, I installed the 2007 beta and also enabled the WDS search. But i'm unable to check the folders i want to index in the "search options". The title "Index messages in these data files" is gray.
