  Quick search in Outlook 2007 is not working. No results found. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to resolve this I just installed Office 2007 Professional on Windows XP + WDS 3 RTW using WindowsDesktopSearch-KB917013-XP-x86-enu.exe. Quick search returns no results in Outlook 2007. I had been running Outlook 2003 + Lookout for searching. I did an install of Office 2007. The latest Lookout addin was in place on Outlook 2003 when I did the Office 2007 install. I have uninstalled Lookout. I uninstalled WDS and re-installed it. I ran Office 2007 repair.   I'd really like to convert from an AQS query to the SQL command required by WDS 3.0. I have found lots of info about doing this from C# by using a file from the Vista SDK called SEARCHAPI.TLB but (a) I can't find a copy (b) I don't know how to use such files in VB.NET. I have found that if I include a reference to the MSNLNamespaceMgr.dll file from the WDS program directory then my vb object browser can find me the following: Function GenerateSQLFromUserQuery (ByVal pszQuery As String ) As String Member of: MSNLNamespaceMgrLib .   Things in IE7 that are still not drawn flicker-free: 1 small edge (line) between the tab bar and the content frame that is indicating the active tab 2 status bar These two UI elements are updated every time the user switches between tabs for example.   Is it just me or does WDS 3 just seem broken I am trying to understand why I should install WDS 3 when it seems that many features I use each day have been removed. Examples include requiring an add-in to search UNCs, no Group Policy support, no PDF iFilter. Another problem is many of the iFilters I currently use don't work with WDS 3 like the old PDF iFilter.   I've been scrounging around online and thought I might be able to get a definitive answer here. Currently, I have Napster-to-go with my Dell DJ. The DJ is on it's way out the door, and I'm looking at getting a Zune. On attempt setup WDS for outlook i see following error : "Windows Desktop Search has detected that you are using an Outlook profile that is not your default profile.   Having an intermittent problem printing To: From: CC: Subject: Attachments: headers on emails. Usually happens with larger emails or emails with large attachments or emails that have been replied to or forwarded from other people. Have installed Generic/text printer and sent the email to this printer but sometimes the headers are still missing even printing this way.
