• ccote Team Foundation Build status is "Failed" but the reported error are in projects that are not part of the solutions configuration

  My automated build is returning a build status of failed. I am doing a build with a solution that contains projects that I do not want to build, the configuration of the solution I have selected the appropriate projects to build. When I do a build I only get warnings, no errors in the ErrorsWarningsLog.txt But in BuildLog.txt I get errors: Example of error:  C:\Builds\..\Timesheet.Connectivity.dtproj : Solution file warning MSB4122: Scanning project dependencies for project "...Timesheet.Connectivity.dtproj" failed.   Can I use the new MOSS to host the project portals I would like to take advantage of the wiki, etc that is now available in moss. Thanks TFS V1 can not use the new Sharepoint 2007 stuff for the project portal intrustructure, but relies on Windows Sharepoint Services 2003. I suspect the team are looking to addres this in a later release. Sorry, excuse my niavity. But does that mean that current WSS 2003 sites aren't supported in 2007 I was hoping that TFS could just use 2003 functionality and I could work with the additions of 2007.   Hi! Originally, I was contemplating buying VS but I want to have the DDK and I can hardly afford the investment in both, this is after all merely a hobby to me. Now I downloaded the EE, will that work with the DDK if I buy that, or is that relying on the Pro version Also, I would like to know if I can use Express for 64bit development - seing that '.net' is fresh out in 64bit.   How do I convert Visual Basic 2005 to Visual Basic 6 I know I have done it before but can't remember how im not sure you can. you can convert FROM VB6 -> VBExpress but not the other way around I don't think since VB.NET is seperate/different than VB6 in that the .NET libraries are used.   VB Express has now started crashing often, particularly when I rename of classes or fields and it often leaves my code in an inconsistent state. Currently, after attempting to change the project type from "Class Library" to "Windows Application" the IDE crashed again in the middle of the operation. When I restarted the IDE the compiler is now giving the error: 'MyForm' is a type in 'MyProject' and cannot be used as an expression.   I want to sandbox the TFS on a server that hosts our team's Sharepoint sites. The install notes sez "Team Foundation Server configures WSS for you." Will this mess up our exisitng sites I'm afraid that in v1 you really can't use an existing SharePoint installation to install TFS. We depend on certain items to be configured in a certain way. E.g., to support back-up, application pool access, configuration, etc. There is a whitepaper on MSDN which tells you how to configure TFS post install to point to another SharePoint server.
