• Tryst Unable to edit VSMDI file after Upgrade

  Hi, we have been using the Eval-Version of VS2005 Team-Suite (English Version) and have now switched to our Volumne-License-Version of VS2005 Team-Edition for SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS, GERMAN EDITION. Ever since then when we double-click the VSMDI file, the test-list opens up, instead of the VSMDI-Editor. We have one VS2005 Team-Suite GERMAN and there it opens just fine. Is this a limitation of the DEV-Edition or how can we re-link the VSMDI Extension to the correct editor Yes, that's correct, although I wish I had better news.   Hi everybody. I'm using VB C++ 2005 Express I got a problem moving my exe file to another computer, and I wonder if anybody else has had the same problem.   The Problem: When we try to create a local IIS website project in Visual Studio 2005 on a server that has sharepoint installed it says "visual web developer does not support creation of a web site on a sharepoint web server".   Hi If I as a DBA use DBPro for doing checkin checkout operations, how should the developers that don't have DBPro do the check in check out of the files they need We are impleting Team System as the version control system.   The tutorials at http://teamsystemrocks.com/tutorials/ may be good for a high level view in certain areas but don't help out when getting started. Is there a tutorial showing how to: 1) Make the Pubs DB a database project using vanilla Visual Studio and then adding it to Team Foundation 2) Same thing but with a vanilla application.   I'm writing an application that will use dozens of forms and I want to close the old forms as I launch a new one. When I use: Form1.Close() {Form1 being the traditional first form} it shuts down the entire program as opposed to closing the form and leaving me on Form2. • Richard Morgan Using dropped testfiles for reporting???

  Hi We are running web tests during our dailybuild of our projects. These files however consume a large amount of space space (several hundred MBs per product and test run) so we have set up a task to clean them up periodically. We also move them from their standard drop location to make them more easily available for the test team. However after doing these changes our progress reports have begun losing all test data. It seems that the reporting engine is actually expecting the test files to be kept and to be positioned at the standard drop location.
