  • ShimiIL MAPI property tags in Outlook

Hi, I'm developing an Outlook addin which utilized synchronized SharePoint lists. In order to identify these lists, the addin tries to find the guid of the list in the Outlook folder's MAPI properties. To do so, I call: fields.get_Item(<propTag>, missing) Unfortionately, Outlook seems to use different property tags for the same property on different installations (could some one confirm this, please). For example, on my local machine (windows XP) the property tag is 0x804A001E, on a test machine (Server 2003) it is 0x8041001E. How can I find out which property tag I must use to get the guid of the SharePoint list Thank you in advance, Munir Husseini Hallo Mei, thank you for your response. Where do ...Show All

  • NozFx Back to back video playback: problems + inconsistent behavior

Hi, I'm trying to play video clips, back to back, inside a canvas. My first approach was to hold two mediaelements in the canvas, and switch their visibility, loading the data in each element while the other was playing. This turned out to be unusable, as for some strange reason, the second element would consistently drop a lot of frames. I got this behavior even when the project was reduced to the bare minimum. If anyone has any idea why this is so, please don't hesitate to share the knowledge (using June CTP). I then tried to switch from direct MediaElement manipulation (Source, Play, Stop etc.), to the mediatimeline/mediaclock approach. This turned out to be very tricky, but after a lot of voodoo work (e.g, explicitly assigning null to ...Show All

  • Pramod_SN WCF integration with GSOAP

Hi, I’m trying to write a c++ client that talks to .net WCF server. For that aim I’m using the GSOAP application. I was successful in writing a c++ client that talks to an asp.net server, but when I tried to write c++ client and a WCF server they failed to interact. When the client sent a request to the server the following fault was received: Error 415 fault: SOAP-ENV:Server [no subcode] "HTTP Error" Detail: HTTP/1.1 415 Cannot process the message because the content type 'application/soap+xml; charset=utf-8' was not the expected type 'text/xml; charset=utf-8'. • Kaliko Installation woes when running Office 2007

So I have a new Tablet PC with Visual Studio 2005, Office 2007 and Windows XP Tablet Edition. I am going to work on the new VSTO book with it. VSTO 2005 SE installs fine, but there are no document projects. So I tried to install VSTO 2005 First Edition, but it requires Office 2003 SP1 to run. I don't WANNA install Office 2003. Is there a way to get just VSTO Addins and Documents for 2007 on a VS 2005 box S Hi Bill No. There is currently no version of VSTO for document-level projects that works with Office 2007 as the development environment. The current document-level projects also can't target the new features in Office 2007 (such as Ribbons and custom task panes), although such projects developed for 2003 can be ins ...Show All

  • OptikConnex OK, who stole my CSS Editor?

Can't remember how I installed VS2005Pro, but Ithink it was the General purpose install....anyway, when I'm working on CSS files, my Style menus are grayed out and I'm looking at plain text with no intellisense support. I did a search('Find' command) for some text in a CSS file and upon opening another CSS file that contained the 'Found' text, the CSS editor was fully functional until I closed the found file and then tried again to reopen it -- then, no more Style sheet menus or intellisense. I'm sure this is some cool new feature that the guys at MS really like, but, PLEASE, would someone explain it to ME I'd like to have intellisense working when I'm working on my CSS files. Thanks I am also shocked at what I do NOT se ...Show All

  • dtsn # character causing errors in compiled help files.

Hello, I hope this is the right place to post this. I've been building help files using the Sandcastle help file builder and the GUI frontend developed by EWSoftware. The help file compiles fine, but when I move it to a folder with a # symbol in the path (ie: /code/head/c#/docs/.... ) it cannot load the internally compiled HTML. When I look at the URL it's trying to load the path stops at the # symbol. Obviously this issue is easily avoided by placing the help file in a path with no # characters, but I was wondering whether this behaviour is a bug or by design It would be a shame if our clients were to get errors in the help file due to their choice of install directory. Is there any way around this Thanks, Dave ...Show All

  • clint 2 Why is Anonymous Access Required to Host WCF in IIS?

I've read through various posts trying to understand why the virtual directory that hosts the .svc file must be set to anonymous and I have not found any concrete answers. One post suggested that WCF does all of the authentication itself, which makes perfect sense, but I want to make sure I understand the implications of IIS hosting with anonymous enabled. What this would mean to me is that when using Windows authentication on client and server, IIS authentication is taken out of the picture completely If so, then how does the WindowsPrincipal get passed/set from the client to the service I understand that enabling ASPNET compat is an option, but this isn't something I want to do.
