• proecco VB.net Excel automation "activate is ambiguous" error.

  In the attached code I am getting the following error at the oSheet.Activate() line. I am using VB.net 2002 Standard 'Activate' is ambiguous across the inherited interfaces 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Execl._Worksheet' and 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.DocEvents_Event'. I Googled and found some info but I could not get any of the solutions to work. As you see found and tried the Microsoft KB article 315981 (see commented out CType code) but it did not work either, probably due to my error (Newbie).   I want to maintain some user data in the Tags collection of a slide. I have added a ribbon and can display a form for capture of required fields. How do I gain a reference to the current slide I assume you are developing a VSTO powerpoint addin. In this you can access PowerPoint Object Model from the ribbon event handler by using Globals.ThisApplication and get the current slide from there.   Hey, This really should be incredibly easy to do but all I can find is huge explanations of how to use CollectionViews, Observable whatnots, SortDescriptions etc. In code, I want to be able to add ["Cat", "Dog", "Ant", "Bat"] to a ListBox, then be able to sort them... I've looked at SortDescriptions but have no idea what the first argument needs to be. Exceptions are thrown when i try things like "Content", "Name", "Text"... what properties to simple strings have I really do want to avoid XAML for this bit as it isn't ideal, code, a couple of lines...   I have designed a Windows application that has a fairly simple crystal report in it. I created the form, then added the Crystal Report Viewer. I added a report by browseing to my local machine and added the report to my solution. I pass parameters to the report via the following code. I would say that 4 of 10 times I call the report to be opened, it fails with "Load Report Failed". The other 6 times, it works great. This happens on my development machine in debug or from the actual installed package and from a machine that I have done a fresh install of the package. What am I doing wrong. • LittleSettler javascript intellisense on standalone *.js file

  How can I get Intellisense to work in Visual Studio 2005 on a standalone *.js file (i.e. not contained within a <script> tag inside an .html file). I simply need basic intellisense for things like document. and window. (for example) but I can't seem to find whatever the extension is required to work. Any help would be appreciated. • Fahad349 C# Chinese wont build resources on Vista

  In my C# project I have CHS/CHT for Chinese resources. If I build the project on Vista these two languages will not build the resource dll file. I have to rename to Hans/Hant for Chinese to build. If I move the project back to XP then it again wont build and I have to rename the resources again. I've heard of a workaround where you set the resource programatically in code based on the OS.
