  I just ran into what appears to be a bug in WPF, or at least an undocumented requirement. Essentially, it appears the method implementing the ReturnEventHandler for a PageFunction.Return event must belong to a PageFunction or the entire application just faults and terminates immediately with 0x80131623. There are no prior first chance exceptions appearing in the debug console that I can find which might be contributing. The following is further elaboration of the scenario.   Go into Registry Editor (Start, Run, "regedit"). Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, Software, Microsoft, Office, 11.0, Delivery. There should be only 1 directory under Delivery, which is your DownloadCode (mine was 90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9). Select that directory. On the right side of the screen, right-click on CDCache. Change the value to 0. honestly works with out a hitch. Your solution didn't work for me! If I change the value to 0 it gives an error message of error 1311. Another window comes up to tell me to retry to find that cdcache.   Just installed Visual Studio Standard after uninstalling the express versions. • Jiffy Hiding Columns based on named ranges or variables

  Hello, I'm new here and hoping that you can help me out with a problem I have encountered while attempting to write some VB to hide a number of columns in Excel based upon a form. The problem I am having is finding a way to select multiple columns to be hidden, as I cannot use the .hidden property with a range but have to resort to Columns(foo,bar). For example I want to be able to do something like Columns("C:Z").Hidden = True without having to hardcode the C:Z portion. Unfortunately I can't find any other way to parse the columns function except with the quotes and : I attempted to replace C and Z and concatenate the variables with ":" but had no luck as VB did not like syntax.   Hello, While building our current project using Visual studio 2005 we stumbled on this error, === Error 16 The item "xxx" was specified more than once in the "Resources" parameter. • TJT Is there a setting to add items to VSS by default

  If I add a form it creates a link in the solution\project to the form. But the form is not in VSS until I check it in, it is only shown as a newly added file. So if another developer then opens the project and tries to build it he will get an error saying those files are not found. Is there way to have items added to VSS by default to avoid this issue When you add the form to the project, the project file is checked out. Don't checkin the changes to the project file unless you checkin the form at the same time, too!   Hi all. Been looking around with the aim of writing an app that can both preview and stream webcam video, but appear to have fallen at the first hurdle. All the information I can find seems to be older, using either native calls or DirectShow to perform this, but I've been told that the framework now supports using a WebCam. Anyone got any information on how to use a webcam preview, and maybe how to go about streaming it over a network Thanks! So doing a little more diving into the DirectShow API, I believe it is possible to grab a preview stream and get the frames without relying on an HWND to display them.   SizeChanged event is not fired when Visibility changes (from Collapsed to Visible). I agree with SerialSeb. Think about it this way...If there was a VisibilityChanged event, would you expect it to fire when an element's size became 0 x 0 I believe it must be because in a Collapsed state, the object is simply removed from the rendering of the visual tree, not resized to 0. Hiding and resizing are two separate functions, and the parent of the object will just account for that object not taking up any space.
