• Visual Studio Express Editions Can I Add a Printer?

  I would like to make a program that would, from a text list of network printers, add printers for use in Windows XP (primarily) . I work for a school district in northern BC, and we are having trouble with users needing to re-add printers every time they log on. In other words their printer info is not being saved on there profile properly. I figured I could write a program to do that, but can’t seam to find out how to do that.   Does anyone know if SQL server 2000/2005 will be affect by the DST issues in 2007 If it is, is there a patch release by Microsoft SQL Server relies upon the host computer clock for the correct time. DST issues are temporal, and only effect you if you think it does. SQL Server does not care about the time -it just stores whatever value it is told.   Hello, In the date control parameter while user open the calendar he can change the year at the top of the control by click in the year and he get up and down arrow. When user go to old year ther is a problem with the calendar.   I used to use NDoc to create help in HTML format. When I try to use SandCastle, it appears that the only option is to create .chm files. • Visual Studio 2008 (Pre-release) Callback and IsOneWay=false

  Hello, I am working on a service that need to callback to clients, not for notifications only, service need to get data from client with that callback, exactly a Bitmap Object. So, the callback method has IsOneWay attribute to false. It works quite irregular. Normally, the service get the Bitmap for the first call, and then service and client become crazy, sometimes work, and somtimes not. Debuging, my code is ok, by the output pane of VS shows this two times: "A first chance exception of type 'System.ServiceModel.ProtocolException' occurred in mscorlib.dll".   We have an application that was created in VB6 as an ActiveX Document that will no longer install under IE7. The application will function as expected if it has already been installed under IE6 and subsequently upgraded to IE7. This leads me to believe that there is some mechanism blocking the installation of the control, not a basic incompatability. I've researched all the latest methods for how ActiveX controls are handled in IE7, and how to enable them but none of them have worked to date. • Windows Forms Want to add scrollbars to a DataGridViewTextBoxCell

  I have a DataGridView with a DataGridTextBoxColumn that supports multi-line data, but the size of the data sometimes exceeds the sizes of the cells. How can I add scrollbars to all of my DataGridViewTextBoxCells in a DataGridViewTextBoxColumn, or even better, to any in which the cell text is too large to fit in the cell's display area (Similar to System.Windows.Forms.TextBox.ScrollBars = both) That is sort of what I am looking for, except I was wondering how to make scrollbars show up in the cells that are not currently being edited. • Visual Studio Team System Cannot run Team Edition for Database Professionals if not local admin?

  Hi there, It's very annoying at our work, but we are not local admins on our machine while logged into the domain. We do have Administrator rights only when we log in as local Administrator to the machine. So when I install the CTP, I execute the setup under the local Admin account, and it installs fine, and runs fine when logged in locally. But, when logged into the domain, it does not show up as an installed product under Help -> About. I do not have this problem with any other product ie I have the BI studio, team edition developer, team edition tester, etc running fine.
