  Ive been trying to create a small application to start and stop "spoolsv.exe" (and some other processes) as I want to be able to stop it when I play games or run other demanding applications.   I have create a WebApplication in IIS, but I can load this WebServer with VSTS. It throws "Unable to open the Web 'http://localhost/myservice'. The Web server does not appear to have the FrontPage server extensions installed." I can't find the place to install FrontPage sever extensions in Vista.   Under vista keys my app writes goes into HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node vs the old HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ on XP.   Hello, I want to deserialize a file that was serialized in another solution (assembly). I copied all the classes that was serialized, and put them in my project, thinking this would be enough.   Hello. I am developing a custom class library in visual stuido 2005 profesional eddition. There are some bugs in my code and I am trying to use the step debugger to walk through the code and examine the data. However at random points in the code the debugger will just stop and exit out. It happens in lots of differnt places through the code, not just one specific part. If i keep clicking, "step into" fairly quickly, it will step through just fine. But if I pause for a minute to examine some data in the watch window, then 90% of the time the debugger will crash without any error message.   Hi all, I have written an AJAX progress bar for file uploads... the file upload is implemented in an HttpModule. When a file is submitted using an input type="file", the browser hangs until the file has finished uploading. I know this doesn't have anything to do with the code that actually uploads the file, because when i was first running some tests (before actually writing the module) using the built-in asp.net file upload bits, i was getting the same problem. The file input is located in an iframe on the page which, onsubmit, calls a function in the parent page to handle the progress callbacks.
