• SQL Server Package configurations stored in the database

  If the configurations are stored in the database then does the package pick up the configuration as and when required or it a one time pick when the package is executed. What I plan to do When the package is executed, I want to have a script task at the start of the package that will update the configuration table in the database with the values that the package needs to run with. • Visual C++ How can I prevent my application from being launched multiple times simultaneously?

  Basically, I want my application to detect whether it's already running and shut down if it would be the 2nd copy. I think the solution might use COM objects, but I can't make any sense out of the COM documentation in VC++ 6.0. See the code below. I patched this a couple of times over the years to handle WinXP where you might have multiple users logged in (via Fast User Switching - does anybody actually use that ). It also sets focus to the existing instance before exiting. Note that I use two mechanisms - one that enumerates existing top level windows (looking for my expected program name in the title - kind of a kluge) and if that fails it uses a global instance of an object. • .NET Development C# Client client connecting on a webservice using the linger option

  Hello, Here is my problem : * I have a soap server written in C++ and running on VxWorks. On this server the linger option is activated (value = 1s) so sockets stay connected 1s after closing) * On the other side I have a C# Client. (The proxy is generated with wseWsdl3.exe) The client is calling a method every 20ms and everything works fine exept that after 1 or 2 minutes I have the following error that appears : Error 10048 : address already in use.   If I get a Creator's Club subscription on a 360 under my gamertag, and then log it onto a different 360, will I still be able to use it on the second 360 I know that this would work for arcade games and whatever (you get a license for the 360 you bought it on, and for the gamertag that purchased it), but I can't find any proper confirmation either way about CC subscriptions in the FAQs, and only conflicting stuff in the forums, so any help would be nice.   Anyone else seen this problem starting up XACT It worked in the past but I haven't used it for a few weeks. In the interim, I've installed the Vista SDK, .NET Framework 3.0, WF and WCF extensions for Visual Studio etc. I've uninstalled all these components and reinstalled GSE and Visual Studio Express but still get the same exception on start-up. In the debugger, I see Additional Information: System.Net.Dns threw an exception. I built a quick program to check I could use this class and it worked OK. I am facing problems with .Config files download at client systems, as IE do not allow to download .Config files for security reasons.
