Is there a way to add these symbols to the input panel Is there another solution Hi: There is currently no way to modify the input panel in this way. • Visual Studio Visual Studio 2005 Professional, and Tools for Office on Windows XP Media Center

Hello all. I am going to be purchasing a new laptop, and the one I want comes with XP Media Center. I think I'd like to try that. But, I also need to run VS 2005 Pro and VSTO. I just need a clear answer that both of those will run on Windows XP Media Center. Thanks Marvin I just bought a new laptop too... I didn't want media center but had little choice in the matter as the available systems all came with it rather than XP Pro. My question is whether or not I can just uninstall the Media Center bit and still have a usable system. This IS supposed to be built on XP Pro isn't it So if I can uninstall the media centre bits won't I be back to just XP Pro I have no use for all the electronic program giude and all that st ...Show All

  • Software Development for Windows Vista WF Consultation

My company is considering WF as we port a custom built workflow product solutions to the .NET platform. • .NET Development String concatenation performance comparison

Hi ppl, a simple question here, consider the two options = String.Concat("string1", "string2", "string3"); and = "string1" + "string2" + "string3"; which one will yield a better performance As I know, string is immutable, so, we cannot change the value inside it without the CLR creating a new string. So in this case, would the second case create a new string for "string1" + "string2", before using this new composite string to concatenate with the "string3" How about the first option, would the CLR actually create just a single new string as the system already know the total number of strings to concatenate Pardon me if I got my syntax w ...Show All

  • Visual Studio System.TypeInitializationException was unhandled

I have recently put Crystal Reports XI Release 2 onto my PC, after having installed CR XI SP 2. I had an older Visual Studio .NET 2003 WinForms app, written in C#, that I decided to convert to VS .NET 2005. I went through that process and VS.NET 2005 noticed the newer Crystal Reports and so it updated everything. I changed absolutely nothing in the code , just did the update. Then when I go to run it I get an error which is the following: Hello Stephen, No, I am sorry to say that I have not yet solved this problem. I checked bringing up the form with the CrystalReportsViewer on it (I hadn't done that before), and it came up just fine, within the designer. But once I try to run it, I get that TypeInitializationException error. ...Show All

  • Visual FoxPro Wait Window "" timeout 0.01 and Sleep(10) in VFP-9

I have also seen messages stating a wait would cure some problem. But for myself I didn't have a need for such a thing from foxbase to VFP9. In other words I don't think VFP processing needs such *rests*. ...Show All

  • SQL Server Report Model missing some fields

I hope someone can clarify what I observe below. When I add a certain Table into my report model, one of the fields is not automatically converted into an attribute, but I'm not sure what the exact pattern is. This table has 3 fields as its key, two of them get included and one does not. The one that does not, is also added as a Role as it is used in a relationship within the DSV (Data Source View). Does anyone know what rules BIS (Business Intelligence Studio) uses in deciding which fields to automatically convert using the wizard and which to skip Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, or there is a workaround If anyone can shed any light in the issue, I'd greatly appreciate their comment. Thanks in advance and kindest rega ...Show All
