  Hello All! I know this has come up before and I have tried several of the solutions found within the forum but I just can't seem to import my file correctly and could use some input, please. Sample file (less fields than actual file): Name (str), Phone# (str), Description(str), Resolved(bool), Met(bool) "Kay, Mary","123-4567","Used a "."not a"," in text", "1", "1" The text is qualified with " and columns delimited with commas but the description field has embedded quotes and commas.   I have a VS2005/VB desktop application that uses the built-in version of CR. When I run the package (msi file) on a WinXP system all goes well but when I try it on a Vista (Business) system I get a series of errors indicating that various CR related dlls could not be registered. The error returned is always something like..."c:\Program Files\Common Files\Business Objects\2.7\bin\ExportModeller.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147010895" Do I need to do something different in VS to support Vista Failing to register usually means lack of permissions to the registry.   I've checked through the XNA Documentation, but there doesn't seem to be any way to 'blit'. For those of you unfirmiliar with 'blit': Blit is a way to draw something. For example, say you create a "Texture2D" variable, set the size etc... But the texture is blank. The normal way to create a texture to this is to load up a bitmap image with it through the ContentManager, right But what if you want to use a whole sprite-sheet with many images Back to the blank, say, 65 x 65 bitmap image, you obviusly don't want this 2D image of the player to be a whole 1024x768 sprite-sheet.   Hi, Not exactly related to VS SDK, but don't know where else to post, looking for thoughts from people with a deep understanding of the VS IDE. Over the past few years of developing with VS, each time I add a new c# project, VS seems to get a little slower to do things, to the point that it sometimes takes 5 mins to just load a form in designer mode in the IDE when I have over 100 C# projects in my system. It only takes me a couple of months of full time development to get to 100 projects (99 projects compile to individual DLLs that contain 3 or 4 Winforms typically, one project contains the main exe) and then the whole thing runs like a dog.   Hey, I've been trying out some features of XNA and I noticed that one really necessary feature is missing... there is no way to set the order in which game components are drawn in the existing framework. I would really appreciate a Depth or ZOrder property of the GameComponent class and a Sort() method for GameComponentCollection. Maybe there is another way to do this, but I would find it a lot easier than using the Insert() method, since developers may want to change the order after adding the component. This is probably a pretty crude explanation as I haven't given that much thought to it, but it still seems that some sort of solution to this would be very useful. You can be in a middle of operation when some new file is writen. You should try to read and remove files that are not writen in that moment. If this is the case, your read or/and move operation will fail. But that is ok, you will get that file(s) later.
