  Is there a way to set multiple directories in the search path using SetDllDirectory I've been able to get it to work for a single directory but I've subsequently found that this DLL is dependent on a number of other Dlls which are spread over different directories. Calling SetDllDirectory twice resets the directory which is what you would expect, but have tried comma-separated and semi-colon separated directories in a single call both of which failed. eg [DllImport("kernel32.dll")] public static extern bool SetDllDirectory( string pathName); //and the call is: bool result = SetDllDirectory(@"C:\Dir1;C:\Dir2"); Anyone tried / done this before I tho ...Show All

• .NET Development About the retry mechanism of Remoting

  Hi, I am using .Net remoting in my app. and there some socket errors, such as "Invalid handle" or "the target is not a socket", etc., happen during remoting. I can use the try...catch mechanism to avoid the fatal exception and realize the error processing. I wonder if some retry mechanism is available in .NET. I intend to implement a mechanism to retry the same remoting process for serveral times before quit it completely. Will this work it out Thank you! • Commerce Server Biztalk Catalog Integration

  Is it possible to setup the Biztalk integration with the Catalog Manager to delete variants when importing with Incremental changes. I have tried creating the XML file with the variant I no longer want not present in the file but if I go into catalog manager I can still the variant after import. Please Advise.   Hi, I have a datagridvew bound to a bindinglist of business objects. The grid also contains an unbound textbox column. Depending on the value entered in this unbound column, the UI needs to modify the underlying business object. This needs to happen in the UI because certain selections will require additionnal interaction with the user (popup forms, messageboxes, etc...) My first try was to use cellvalidating because of the added benefit of being able to cancel the edit if the entered value is invalid.   Hi, On a data-entry form in VB 2005, i have a Datatimepicker control. I want that whenever the user clicks the INSERT button to add a new record, the current date must be displayed in the control & the same saved to SQL db. The user may or may not change the date. • Visual Studio Express Editions Fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'windows.h': No such file or directory

  When I try to compile a win32 sample program, I get the 'fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'windows.h': No such file or directory' error. I have installed and configured (even the step not in video) the most recent Platform SDK, but I still get this error! What is happening Thanks! I get the same error, not with the Console Application but with the Windows Application. It appears that the Console Application part is working allright.   Ive copied a database search out of a progrsamming book I have and as far as I can tell I've adjusted it correctly to use my db. Whenever I run the search , it tells me theres no matching records to disply, even though there deffinetly is.   Hi, using Spy++ I can see the listview of Vista's Explorer sending multiple (LVN_FIRST - 88) notifications to its parent. The parent always returns 0x0. Does anyone know what this notification is for It isn't defined in the Vista RTM Windows SDK. The folder which I spied for my tests is the Welcome Center in the Control Panel.   I have an SSIS solution with 8 packages in it. I have checkpoint turned on with the 'If Exists' option. Each of the 8 packages have 8 separate checkpoint files specified. One out of two runs will fail with one of the below errors: The checkpoint file \\xxxxxxxx is locked by another process. This may occur if another instance of this package is currently executing.
