  • Software Development for Windows Vista about wwf

I installed wwf(beta2.2),but when I create a project in vs2005,a waring shown. The msg is : cann't find "SequentialWorkflowActivity" but I have add the System.Workflow.Activities.dll Thanks ! Unless you have a specific reason to install our beta 2.2 version, like the version of Office 2007 Beta, you should probably be using the latest build. Links can be found in this post for installing it. If you can’t upgrade can you go to the gac and give me the version numbers for System.Workflow.Activities.dll and Microsoft.Workflow.VSDesigner.dll. To get to the gac go to Start / Run and type assembly. Find the assemblies, right click on them and click on the version tab. ...Show All

  • Visual Basic Visual Basic 2005 IDE Performance Hotfix Released

We've received feedback, both directly from developers and in the forums, regarding slow performance of the Visual Basic 2005 IDE in certain situations (larger projects, projects with many errors, etc.). I’m sorry that these issues made it to production and degraded the performance of the IDE. The Visual Basic Performance team is working hard to address these issues via hotfixes and the upcoming Visual Basic 2005 SP1 while we work on engineering changes to make sure that issues such as these never make it into a shipping product in the future. Based on this feedback and forum posts, we've been working with customers to address these performance issues. We recently released a performance hotfix to address the follo ...Show All

  • Visual Studio Problem Removing Visual Studio Team Suite Trial

Hi All, I'm having trouble removing Visual studio Team suite trial. I had Visual Studio Team Suite Trial installed on my machine. I decided not to continue the trial and instead install Visual Studio Professional So I installed Visual Studio Professional and tried to run it, but up came the message saying my trial period had expired. Since then I've tried to uninstall/reinstall Visual studio professional, with no change. I then tried to uninstall the team suite trial (its still in add/remove programs list) but it cannot find the setup file to perform the uninstall. I tried to reinstall team suite (so I could the fully uninstall it), but cannot since it thinks there is already a trial version installed on my machine. I tried the msiinv to ...Show All

  • Visual Studio Express Editions Just a question regarding MDI form and ToolStripPanel

Is there a possibility to disable the MDI scroll when ToolStripPanel appears on screen I created an MDI form with two ToolStripPanels at left and right (with dock property set in appropriate way) and I use those containers for a ToolStrip menu (in order to drag and drop it from left to right and vice versa on demand, like a toolbar). The ToolStripPanel is normally hidden (visible=false). It comes on screen only if appropriate button pressed. So, my problem comes if a child form is also open into mdi. In fact, the mdi form by default scrolls to right (or to left) the child form when I open the toolstrippanel, in order to preserve screen place. I want disable this behavior, because I want that toolstrippane ...Show All

  • SQL Server Move SQL Server Express .mdf file to SQL Server 2000

Is this even possible I tried to move an existing Sql Server Express .mdf file to SQL Server 2000 by copying the .mdf file to the server's folder and then tried to attach it. I get: Error 602: Could not find row in sysindexes for database ID 9, object ID 1, index ID1. Run DBCC CHECKTABLE on sysindexes. I realize that I'm moving back a version in SQL, however the structure of the database is very simple. Does anyone know Even if I can just script the thing to SQL 2000 would be helpful, however the .mdf is a file within my ASP.Net site, and does not show up in my Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express under the appropriate SERVERNAME\SQLEXPRESS either, so I can't figure out how to script it out ...Show All

  • .NET Development where to locate dlls when using LoadLibrary in C#

Well, I thought this was odd: Okay, I've just established that LoadLibrary worked this way in "the old days" too, I just never noticed it until I started using C#. This morning I wrote a little test program (TestProgram.exe) that uses DllImport to bring LoadLibrary in from kernel32.dll so I can use it in a C# program. Just to make sure that I had the signature right, I started by doing LoadLibrary() on some Windows APIs (net32api, etc.), and it worked fine. Great. Then I tried doing LoadLibrary("C:\\NoWhereSpecial\\MyDll.dll"); and I kept getting a NULL handle back.(well IntPtr.Zero, really, but basically a NULL). Weird. I made sure that all the dlls that MyDll.dll is dependent on were in the same directory w ...Show All

  • SQL Server DATEADD with 8 byte int?

I have a bigint column called "MillisecondsSince1970" that I need to convert to a date - SSIS is erroring out when I use DATEADD with the 8 byte int (if I use 4 byte it works but the column is bigger than 4 byte). • Visual Studio Sandcastle Help File Builder

I've created an NDoc-like GUI front-end plus a command-line builder tool for automating help file builds with Sandcastle. It's available at: http://www.codeproject.com/useritems/SandcastleBuilder.asp Using the help file builder provides the following advantages: The GUI interface is almost identical to the NDoc interface so anyone familiar with NDoc should be quite comfortable using it. You can import several settings from an existing NDoc project to start a new Sandcastle Help File Builder project. The builder will automatically locate both Sandcastle and the HTML help compiler by looking in the system path and in the Program Files special folder on all fixed hard drives. Properties are also supplied for you to specify the ...Show All
