Hi, I have a propery gird and the only thing that has been giving me trouble is getting the gird to show the properties of the class inside the selected class. Class one has been set up and works fine, as does class two. Only thing is that when i have class two inside class one it dosent show its properties, how can i overcome this Thanks for any help, -Dave First of all i'd like to thank you for making me gain interest in this question again! Check out this article, scroll down to figure 5, you'll find your answer there! A little bit not-too-easy, but excellent in giving you the designer you wanted! • Visual Studio 2008 (Pre-release) PixelFormat in WriteableBitmap and RenderTargetBitmap

Hello, Both classes, WriteableBitmap and RenderTargetBitmap, allow you to specify the pixel format in the constructor. But it doesn't accept most of the pixel formats avaiable. Apparently RenderTargetBitmap only likes PixelFormats.Pbgra32 and WriteableBitmap only takes 32 bits/pixel formats. Is it possible, for example, to have a WriteableBitmap with PixelFormats.Bgr24 I didn't test but I believe I can use FormatConvertedBitmap to get my work done but it only be *much* more easy for me to create the WriteableBitmap with the right format. Thanks Felipe Sure, you can use the BitmapSource.Create static method to create a BitmapSource with a pixel format of Bgr24, and then construct a Wr ...Show All

  • Smart Device Development About SDIO Card Driver

Hai, I am studying about the SDIO Card driver. From my understanding the client driver is loaded after inseting the SD Card by the Bus driver. When the Host controller Driver is loaded Actually i want to diagnosis the SD Card port before inserting the SD Card .Is there any means to find this.I am using the PXA270 processor You should ask the manufacturers of the driver. Each client driver is different and it needs to be set up properly for the device. If the device is not loading at runtime then it could be a problem with the client drivers registries, a problem with the driver, or a problem with the device. Only the client driver should have access to SDCardInfoQuery. This is probably why the command did no ...Show All

  • Visual Studio MS Development Environment

I have used the same installation of Visual Studio .NET 2003 on the same computer for at least 6 months and never had a problem with the application. When I open it I get the following popup message. "MS Development Environment has not been installed for the current user. Please run setup to install the application." I have never had this problem before. I ran the setup again without uninstalling VS .NET 2003. I still get the same message. I already know that you're going to tell me I need to uninstall the app and reinstall it again (redundant). But tell me anyway. Thanks, Jeff Green Hello, I just started having the same problem and am now looking for a solution. Do you remember how you resolved this issue Pleas ...Show All

  • Visual Basic Recent Projects List on Start Page is not being Populated

The Projects List on my Start Page is not being populated with the Projects I open. It's empty. Does anyone know what could be the problem I can see the entries being recorded in the Registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\8.0\ProjectMRUList But VS isn't reading them in for some reason. I'm running Visual Studio 2005 Professional. Thanks. Right, I had to modify the group policy for my users: User Configuration/Administrative Templates/Start Manu and Taskbar Do not keep history of recently opened documents -> disable or no config. This policy had been set long ago and I pretty much forgot about it. So, here is a follow-up question: Where can I find a document ...Show All

  • .NET Development Sockets closing properly?

I have developed a client/server application and am having some trouble with closing and then re-opening sockets. Basically, the first thing my client does is sign-in to my server (it's actually a double sign-in because my server acts as client to a Unix server) When I sign-in I send a message to check the comms is up, and on receiving a valid reply, I present a login box and then login proceeds. If there is no connection available, I fall back onto a local database to use to verify the login so login/out still works. If they click Sign-out and there is a valid socket connection, I do the following; if (CurrentSocket.LocalSocket != null ) { if (CurrentSocket.LocalSocket.Connected) { CurrentSocket.LocalSocket.Shu ...Show All

  • Visual Studio 2008 (Pre-release) Explaination of different timeout types

When I configure a binding I can overwrite several default timeout settings. For example there are: OpenTimeout CloseTimeout SendTimeout ReceiveTimeout InactivityTimeout ... What exactly does each timeout stand for The WCF documentation says "...timeout for an open operation to complete..." for the OpenTimeout for example - but what does this mean exactly Maybe some of you can bring some light in this Especially I want to know, which timeout to configure to achieve the following: A client tries to connect to a server service, but the server is not running at the moment - the caller should recognize this immediately. Which timeout do I have to minimize Regards Bastian This blog entry touc ...Show All

  • Community Chat Is the new java goin to nail down .net ???

hello guys , One of my frnds told me that the new java is goin to nail down .net.Is this true Regards jr Web Developer www.iitjobs.com I don't know how ulgy Java can be, but .Net is extremely beautiful. Try the MS Expression Blend Beta2. OMG, they can make some very very fancy GUI. XAML seems to be a lot easier to define a GUI. A lot of features are build-in. Like Docking, Stack Docking, Grid Panel, and many other cool stuff. You don't need a 3rd party library to make a decent GUI. Of course, you can do better using 3rd party editor =) or 1st party editor like Expression Blend. And it separates logic code and visual code very well. It may feel weird at first, but it is very good idea to speara ...Show All

  • Architecture Deciding which design strategy to use for n-tier applications

I'll use a typical, simplified ERP system as an example. Most ERP will contain the following 3 basic features: Data maintenance Ad hoc search/reporting Business processing These three features differ in their nature and it affects the design chosen in architecture. Just wondering how should we deal with these problems Data maintenance: This area contains highly repetitive CRUD plumping works. ORM is suitable for this task. Ad hoc search/reporting: This area is hardly "object-oriented". The main concern would be performance. Dynamic SQL query may be a good choice. Business processing: This includes business process such as processing/tracking workflow, matching payment with invoi ...Show All
