Hello all, I'm just getting into XNA, and all I want to do at this point is create an object that will basically just represent one pixel on the screen, with a variable for RGB color that can be modified easily. Then I can simply draw the pixel to the screen, and change it's color if need be. Any help is appreciated. I haven't looked into this, but isn't there a way to get the memory of a texture and just treating that as the framebuffer like we did in the old days Then rendering that to a fullscreen quad ...Show All

.NET Development Please help with DES decryption - 'Length of the data to decrypt is invalid.'
Hi, I am attempting to Decrypt a file that I have, which has come from an outside source. The source says that it ' uses the 56-bit symmetric Data Encryption Standard ', and also ' The implementation was written so as to conform to MIT's libdes.' I am using the MS Patterns & Practices Cryptoblocks library to decrypt the file, but I keep getting the following exception, originating from the ' CryptographyUtility.Transform()' function, at line 10 (cs.FlushFinalBlock()). The exception thrown is 'Length of the data to decrypt is invalid.' Now, I have googled for this problem and have found some help, and typically people recommend to either use Convert.From/ToBase64, or they recommend to use ASCII.GetBytes/String(). ...Show All

Hi ! :) I love XNA Game Studio express, it's just great ! Thanks to the team ;) If i'm posting this topic here now, it's to present you my first (far from being complete) XNA creation. .NET Development How MDBG process Unhandled Exception
Hi All, I use MDBG to debug a .NET application, which throws Unhandled Exception from some code. MDBG could capture it easily. It give below hints. STOP: Unhandled Exception thrown Exception=... ... ... This is unhandled exception, continuing will end the process But i want to let debuggee popup up an Unhandled Exception Dialog, then give the user a choice about whether continue or quit. It is the default behavior when CLR meet Unhandled Exception. When i debug the application within VS2005, it will popup the dialog. But when i use MDBG debug the application, then type "go", the process will end immediately. So i want to know how to modify MDBG to get the same effect as VS2005 Thanks ...Show All

Hello, I am new to Analysis Services. I have installed MSAS on SQL Server 2000, and am following steps described in the tutorial. I was able to create cubes and also process them. When I try to browse data in the cube or dimension, I get the error Unable to browse the cube <cubename> Unspecified error. I have a method of using WebRequest and WebResponse to post login info to a page and once i do i am given a response with: <meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="0;URL=http://..ADDRESS_HERE..."> To which I can not figure out how to handle using the two fore-mentioned objects! In VS 2005 editor, Tools --> Options --> c# --> Formatting is there a way to turn all this stuff off for a block of code I have this section of code defined, and someone goes and cuts and pasts the part of these decloration's thus reformatting them.
