  Hello - I am having some issues with child domain classes properly inheriting mutliplicity validation methods from their base classes. I have a DomainClass, ParentClass, with a relationship to some other DomainClass, TargetClass1. Multiplicity is validated as I expect. I have another DomainClass, ChildClass1, that inherits from ParentClass. ChildClass1 does not add any more relationships. The multiplicity rules from ParentClass are validated as I expect. I have a third DomainClass, ChildClass2, that also inherits from ParentClass. ChildClass2 adds a relationship to some other DomainClass, TargetClass2. • SQL Server Agents not appearing in Replication Monitor (SQL 2000)

  During an upgrade, we had problems with PK errors on sp_MSget_repl_commands. I recreated the SP with the varbinary characteristic as we have seen in many posts and it was sucessful in starting. However, the sp now appears as a 'user' sp, not a 'system' sp, however I an not sure that is a real issue. The problem I am seeing is that none of the agents are appearing in replication monitor under their agent folders. Replication appears to be working fine and the publications are showing on the distributor in the Replication Monitor - Publication folder under the appropriate publisher.   I got some problem in using rapi (from OpenNETCF) to connect mobile device and desktop application in Vista. Can the rapi still work in Vista Or I need to change the dll to Microsoft.WindowsMobile.rapi.dll If Microsoft dll is needed, does anyone have some sample Thanks. My trial vista has just expired. • Visual Studio Express Editions Problem with LPCSTR after Platform SDK is installed.

  I installed Visual C++ 2005 Express Edition. Also, I installed Platform SDK for Windows Server 2003 R2. It is for Windows XP professional with SP2 package. I made sure to check and modify directory and template project by the following instruction from Platform SDK. Everything is working fine when I clicked Win32 Application Template Project. It is generated automatically by the wizard. I am able to compile and build into execute file without any problem. The problem is with LPCSTR and LPCWSTR. For example, I use MessageBox function. I want to use LPCSTR so MessageBox function is correct. Unfortunately, MessageBox function is linked to MessageBoxW function using LPCWSTR instead of LPCSTR. • Visual C# Process class used from Windows Service fails

  I'm having trouble with the Process class. I have a Windows Service running as SYSTEM and I want it to spawn processes on behalf of users. I get the user's password there securely and create a SecureString. I get a Win32Exception "Access Denied" on Process.Start. If I run the service under the same account as the user I want to start for, I still get the exception except it says "The handle is invalid". I've checked and checked the SecureString and I've made it read-only so I don't think that's it. I actually had gotten it to work some time ago if I impersonate the client but this isn't really practical since the job can be queued up waiting for some time.   Hi, I am using visual studio team suite 2005 for developing a windows app in C# I have 2 forms Form1 and Form2 I have a button control on Form1 called Bttn. In the click event of the button i am writing the following code so that i close the current Form i.e. Form1 and want to show Form2.   I am having a real issue here trying to get either WSS or SPS 2007 up and running in my VMWare enviroment, I have everything configured, IIS, .NET, ect execpt for one major piece of the puzzle, Workflow Foundation Beta 2 or greater! I have been googleing and searching M$ site now for 3 days and no luck....can someone help me out I have downloaded the extensions for .NET but that is not what I need as the installer says the same thing everytime.   I ve been having a similar challenge. I can not download from microsoft. I have comcast and have spoke with them they say they are not blocking my modem and that it is a microsoft problem. I have three PC's in my home and none of them can download from microsoft. They all have valid windows XP installed. I am able to get auto updates, and when XP is reinstalled onto my pc its goes through the validation just fine. I get a can not display the webpage every time i try and download something. I am not able to even open the validation link pages to run the validation checker tool.
