• SQL Server Dynamic Date Parameter in Report Manager

  Hi all, I was wondering if there's a way to override the default date parameter of a report to a dynamic value such as Today(), Now(), DateAdd(),... through Report Manager. I know this can be done in Report Designer, but never been successful when I try to change the date parameter value in Report Manager. I've tried to change the date parameter value by clicking on the Override Default button in the report's properties page from Report Manager, error like the one below will be shown after I entered Now() in the Default Value field and clicked Apply: The value provided for the report parameter 'StartDate' is not valid for its type.   hai frendz, I tried the below prog, but cant get the reason for error.The ERROR is System.FormatException: Index(zero based) must be greater than or equal to zero or less than the size of the argument list. • Visual Studio Team System High SQLServer Memory Usage in LoadTest

  Hi, I am executing a load test with 8 webtests and 4 web test plugins, 1 for 2 webtests. In each of the plugin, I am pulling data from the SQL Server with select statement like "Select top 20000 from tablename"; and in the post webtest method in plugin, I am deleting the row which was used for webtests. While executing the loadtest I am seeing hight memory usage for SQL Server in taskmanager and in turn causing my system to be damn slow. How could I get around this problem Does my select and delete statements causing high sql activity Thanks. • .NET Development Client not returning server cookie

  Hi friends, During my server's communication with client, I add a cookie to the HTTP response. I also set the "Expires" property of cookie using cookie.Expires = DateTime .Now.AddDays(1); This used to work earlier but today I have seen that my client has stopped sending the cookie back to me in the same (TCP and HTTP) session. I saw that in the HTTP response from my server, the Max-Age info about the cookie was missing. Does that mean that the way I set the Expires property of cookie did not work I can't seem to figure whats the problem. • Windows Forms Publish ClickOnce project with Team Build?

  Does anyone have any examples of how to create a Team Build BuildType that publishes the project similiar to the way you manually do it in visual studio I already have the BuildType created and working (it gets kicked off on a schedule). I've also created a BeforeDropBuild task that does GenerateApplicationManifest and GenerateDeploymentManifest that also works. This was a bit confusing -- when the BuildType is run not through the GUI many of the properties don't exist and most of the examples appear to assume they would. Anyway, these steps work in that the build does not fail. Somehow I need to publish the manifest I suppose, but I can't find any examples of how to do it.   Hello, I'm a student and I'm developping on XNA with my teamates. We have a Xbox 360 and develop on our personnal laptop. When we have tested our project on the Xbox, we can't deploy from each laptops to the Xbox. Does a solution to deploy from several computer exist Thank you for your help.   Hi all, I have written a simple .net class to call sql functions like create subscription and sync replication. I am using merge replication. My Question is this:-- my class calls Microsoft.SqlServer.Replication.dll. On a machine that has SQL Express loaded it works but on a machine that does not have sql express it fails. I have made a setup project and deployed my "service". I added all references into the project and all works well on a machine that has sql express. We are running a network with 1 machine that has sql express and other machines that plug into this sql express. Is there a sql express runtime setup or do I have to load sql express on each machine.
