• SQL Server Getting the latest data from different fields in one SQL

  Hi, I'm trying to write some SQL which will give me the following result from the table below.. Currently I can do each of the PRICEx fields in a seperate query then join the results together. I do this by getting the MAX(Date) WHERE PRICEx IS NOT NULL then using that date to get PRICEx, and then repeat until I've done all the PRICE fields. This is acceptable for a small selection, but for a large selection this can get quite slow. • Software Development for Windows Vista Dynamic Update of Code Activity ExecuteCode Handler

  In the Presenting Windows Worfklow Foundation book they have an example of performing a dynamic update where the ExecuteCode event of a CodeActivity is changed from one handler to another at runtime. I wanted to try this out using the rtm version of WF. In the book, they have the original activity calling a method that prints "static!" to the console, and the dyanmic version prints "dynamic!". The problem is, that even in the book's example it prints: Static! Dynamic! Which doesn't make much sense to me, if the goal was to modify the CodeActivity so that it calls the dynamic output method instead (e.g. it should not call both event handlers). • Visual Basic Creating a program that restarts a server

  I wouldn't be asking this if it weren't for someone that has exploited a bug in our Server and has been using it to run two instances thus shutting it down, now I would like to make a (FREE!) program that restarts the server if it should hang, shut down, or lock up giving a run time error. I have looked through an infinite amount of forums, thumbed through my books and I can't seem to find anything of help. • SQL Server Error Migrating Reporting Services

  I am migrating our reporting services from 2000 to 2005. I am following the instructions in http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143724.aspx . I am currently using the Report Server Configuration tool to restore the encryption key. I click "Restore", point to the backup that I created at the beginning of the process, enter the password, and the process begins. I get a check mark and a message saying "Restoring Encryption Key." The problem is that it never comes back from this. I let it run for over an hour and finally clicked one of the previous steps to abort this. I went back and started it over.   I just got sql 2005. Can someone point me in the right direction on getting started importing data. I need to be able to load ascii data into SQL 2005 on a weekly basis. This ascii file will have the same data structure but data will change weekly. I have heard to do this automatically (basically with a click of a button) you should use a DTS package.
