  Hi there, This might be a really stupid question but I'm having trouble saving VB.NET projects in other locations as backup. What I want to do is save the project somewhere (eg memory stick) so that if something bad happens I've got a copy somewhere. However, when I choose save as a message box pops up stating that the project must be saved in the original location. I can save the forms and module elsewhere individually. Thats fine for this project as there are only a few things in it but what about larger projects I can save the solution elsewhere but then it can't find the project because it's expecting it in the original location.   Is it possible to change the Markers than come ready to use in MS Graph . I need to print a chart using this markers: "<" and ">" instead of tiangle, * , - , _ , + etc. does any one can give me any kind of help in this matter . Hi, It's not possible directly through the OM although you can apply customer markers manually using copy/paste where the marker is a autoshape or picture. You could possible use this approach which is to set the fill pattern of a column chart using an external image file and then change the chart type to line with markers.   Hi I'm upgrading my code based on DAO to ADO.NET in VB2005 and got stuck looking for SourceTable and SourceField properties of DataTable fields. DAO.Recordset.Fields have .SourceTable and .SourceField properties which tell you the original table/field which provides the data in that particular field of the recordset. This is useful in my application where I am filtering users' queries to the database to see whether I want to allow them access to that particular bit of data.  Although I can imagine that there are maybe other solutions to security issues, I've already built a whole system around this method, and would like for simplicity's sake just upgrade it without changing the methodology.   hi Friends i have made a project in vb.net 2005 express Edition and MsAccess. As Express Edition dont have crystal Report with it i have used msaccess reports. but im having problem print reports from vb. im using COM for Access, (DoCmd for Access object ) it is printing the reports when im using unbounded Access Database, but when i used database bounded with my project, it is giving me error message that MDB file is missing or opend exclusively, please help me so that i can print the Access report and tell me the code by which this database can be made non-exclusive for the moment and again can be made exclusive after i print the report. • Visual Studio Team System Error when running tests: Column 'TestType' does not belong to table test.

  I and everyone on my TFS team is getting the following error message box when trying to run unit tests: --------------------------- Microsoft Visual Studio --------------------------- Column 'TestType' does not belong to table test. --------------------------- OK --------------------------- I checked the TFS databases, and I couldn't locate any table named test, so I'm not really sure where else to look. • Visual Studio Express Editions AutoIncrementing UniqueIdentifier column in SQL databse table giving NoNullAllowedException!

  Visual Basic 2005 Express: In my SQL database table, I have a CustomerNbr column. In Database Explorer's table definition it has "UniqueIdentifier" as it's data type, and is set as the PrimaryKey. In the XSD Designer, this field is set as the primary key, AutoIncrement=True. DefaultValue is <DbNull>, but, it won't let me remove this! When I add a record to the DataGridView, it correctly puts a "1" in the CustomerNbr column, but, when I update the record, I get a System.Data.NoNullAllowedException! back to the original problem, I had a look at the database schema.   I'm trying to set up a simple SQL database connection with hostname, user, login, and password information located in the app.Config file. I added an app.config file through Add -> New Item -> Utility -> Configuration file. I'm using VS2005, a managed C++ Windows XP Service Template.   Hi I have a SSIS project that has one parent package and three child packages. When I run the project on my development machine in debug mode it works fine. Also if i run the packages using dtexec on my development machine it still works fine. However the problem comes in when I try and run the project using dtexec on the staging server i get the following error: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Pipeline.DoesNotFitBufferException: The value is too large to fit in the column data area of the buffer. does anyone have any idea how to fix this please thanks G Pipeline Buffers are not shared between child and parent packages.
