  does visual studio team system for database professionals incude source control if yes, is the source control at the database level meaning if someone goes into Management Studio will they "see" that a stored procedure is currently checked-out and then they cannot modify that sp. i am hoping to hear something that would make me switch to VSTS for source control. not hearing it. Just so we are on the same page, the process we use is someone goes into VS(not VSTS) database project, checks out an sp, make changes, clicks "run", this deploys the sp to the shared development environment.   XNA Brains; I created some code that converts a BSP file into an XNA-renderable map file. It was on the xbox360homebrew.com site. I had everything working in the code, and then I decided to port it over to the ContentPipeline. (I'm liking the pipeline more and more now). Long story short, I've run into a few nasty bugs introduced while trying to improve my code. I've found debugging to be a real pain because the only way I can simulate the entire Content Pipeline experience is to let GSE/XNA do the building of some actual content.   Hi all! My product installs a boot-start filter-driver, but uses co-installer for its setup. I have successfully signed this driver using MS recommendations, but I have a number of questions and I would be very happy if someone could help me clarify them: 1. For LOGO certification - is it obligatory to install filter-driver through .inf file or I can use co-installer 2. Shall I generate .inf and .cat files if I use 'co-installer' way 3. MS docs say that .cat files must be signed with a cross-certificate. But what about .sys-files inside the driver package What certificate should I use - from Verisign or the cross-certificate 4.   Hi, I have a report in one folder in Report Manager. Let's call that the 'base' report. I've created a linked report with that 'base' report to another folder. When I go into Visual Studio BIDS, change the report and deploy it to Report Manager, only the base report changes. The linked report does not change. Is this by design I thought linking reports gave you the ability to have a base report and numerous other linked reports, all of which would also change if you changed and redeployed the base report. • Internet Explorer Development IE7 Script Error

  Hi, This problem has always been bugging me. When I sign into my user account and open up User Accounts in control panel I don't have any problems but when I go to any other user account and do this, no matter if they are computer admins or not, they encounter an IE script error with no description and this popup does not go away whether you click yes or no. It's not just the User Accounts menu in the control panel, it's other applications too. Is there a fix for this problem or any ideas I have already disabled script debugging in IE. I also disable the alerts for script errors in IE too. Having same problem running just Windows XP home edition (no Media Center).   Hiya, We're in the process of testing one of our add-ins against VS2005 Pro RTM, and along the way we are encountering some very, very odd behaviour. The latest to surface relates to the Visual C++ include folder configuration. In VS2002 and VS2003 you can simply grab a VCPlatform object directly from EnvDTE::Properties:Item(L"Platforms") and use it irrespective of whether a solution is open. Unfortunately, the Platforms property has gone in VS2005, to be replaced by "IncludeDirectories", which contains the raw (i.e. including macros) include folder configuration.   Although I have the box selected to Always Copy the graphic images I am using in my tests they never update when I update them in Photoshop. I include the graphic in my project and select Always Copy. I change the graphic in Photoshop and select Save. I re-run the game and the graphic has not changed. I can see the changed graphic in the root directory but not in the execution directory. So, how can I force the graphics in the project to pull the latest versions of my graphics ...Show All
