  Hey, I just downloaded VB Express a couple weeks ago. I'm having trouble finding resources for beginers. I've found all of the video series on microsoft.com but I want a bit more resources.   Hi I have a requirement to compare two database tables(client/server - Synchronziation perpous) to sync client changes back to server. I queried data from both the database tables to DataTables and I used squential seach to compare to database tables and updated back to server. Its working fine, but its its taking 9min to compare 20K records. 9min is pretty slow, If any body implemented binary seach or any other faster ways to compare/sync database tables, Please suggest me.   One of our web apps allows the user to create notes or reminders by launching a new window. The webtest is recording the launch of the new window and the submittion of the note or reminder however, looking at the Form Post Parameters for the submittion, __VIEWSTATE is hardcoded. I can extract the viewstate from when the form launches and use that, but I am wondering why it is not automatically being grabbed as a hidden field. Could there be a limitation as to the length of the viewstate as a hidden field For Creating a Note it is over 200K long. For Creating a Reminder it is over 700K. The problem is that the following sql query works fine in Access, and I could get a perfect report out of it. however, when I trying to use this query in VB, data won't show in the crystal report. I don't even get an error on this code.   Problem: I am trying to create an asp.net website with integrated windows authentication to access SQL databases. IIS resides on WinXP and SQL Server on Win2000 SRV. Both are in the same NT Domain.
