  Newbie question If if place a button on a window how can I set the mouse click event. I thought I could just click on the button like a normal Winform application and add the event code. Hi All... I totally feel everyone's pain on the event hookup. Here are some spiffy "excuses" for why it's on our "todo" list and not on our "done" list :-) Actually wiring the event, while somewhat tedious, is done with less frequency than many other operations.   Problems with Document Map creating a side scroll to get to Up/Down Scroll for the Map itself. There are two scroll bars once you side scroll over in the map window. • Visual C# Playing cd's with mci question

  I am trying to write some code to play a CD from a drive and the user can indicate what track to play. I should be using this format, as far as I know: mciSendString("open cdaudio", null, 0, IntPtr.Zero); mciSendString("play cdaudio from 3:00:00:00 to 4:00:00:00", null, 0, IntPtr.Zero); So this would play from the 3rd track to the 4th. This does not work, it seems to start in the middle of the first track or the track that I want to paly (3). • Smart Device Development Repainting whole screen on application exit

  Hi When I exit my application the OS does not refresh the menu bars. Both the start menu bar on the bottom of the screen and the "battery" bar don't refresh. Is there any command I could issue before exiting my application so that all screen components are refreshed on exit I use C++ so no C# code please. many thanks, Martin Malek Hi again Alex I noticed that changing CW_USEDEFAULT in CreateWindow helped. • Visual Studio Team System VS 2005 in Vista RC1 crashes... Just so you know

  I have tried about a half dozen variations on RC1/VS2005 and all crash. I am using three very different computers (desktop/laptop - intel/amd) all experience the same symptoms on RC1. Visual Studio 2005 will report that it must close and then closes with all changes lost. It also reports very frequently that an attempt to read or write protected memory occurs and then it must close. Today I tried again with a completely clean install of RC1, and a clean install of VS 2005 with no extension, add-ins or third-party controls. • Visual Studio Express Editions Problem with Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition

  I am having problems using the Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition. When trying to create a new database connection, the application hangs. After ending the process, I then get errors when I reboot. The program lsass.exe is faulting. So far my only option to eliminate this error at boot up seems to uninstall the Web Developer. I have scanned my workstation for the sasser virus but it is not detected. I am using Windows XP Professional SP 2. So far, I am unable to use this application.   I have a control that I want to occupy the available space. So, I've overriden MeasureOverride and returned the size available as the occupied space. But, this does not grant my control the input information from the mouse. The only way I managed to get the mouse input was to style it with an element that occupied some space (like a rectangle).   hi, I'm developping a C# IE toolbar, which work well with IE 6, but I noticed a problem with IE 7 beta 2: the toolbar cannot be moved! It's acting as if the "lock the toolbars" were checked. The problem occurs with both the .net kbbar ( http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx scid=kb;en-us;821793 ) and Pavel Zolnikov's toolband sample ( http://www.codeproject.com/csharp/dotnetbandobjects.asp ). But with ATL/MFC or WTL toolbar samples, there is no problem, as there's none for toolbars like the Google one.
