• Internet Explorer Development IE7 and desktop icons

  I just installed Internet Explorer 7 today, which I guess is a.k.a. Windows Live . All of my fancy customized shortcuts on the desktop disappeared and each got replaced by the same generic windows icon. Right-clicking & changing the icons in properties no longer works. Also, when I create an internet shortcut while browsing, that creates a shortcut with that same generic icon (not even an explorer logo). Now my desktop is just one forest of identical icons. Anyone know how I can fix this I've wasted all day without success. • Visual Studio 2008 (Pre-release) accessing Sharepoint 2007 information using WCF?

  I know it can be done, but what is the best way to, say, access a list of Documents in a document repository then make them available on a website external to sharepoint Including allowing the end user to download the documents My website that will be accessing the data will not be on the same server as Sharepoint so I cannot use the OM, but I would like to create a WCF app on the Sharepoint Server and use it to gain access to the data. I am using C# My problem is that it seems to be very slow for me to get and parse the memory content. I am generally looking for large amounts of memory to view - but even with just 16kb, it all takes a bit long. How am I doing it now I am currently using the Debugger.GetExpression to get at the memory. I have tried a couple of ways and have problems with both.   Basily what the title says. i've been using live for a long time now with no issues thus far. however now all of a sudden, its giving me all kinds of issues adding people to my contact list. i add them, yet the "request" isn't going through to them on their side... any idea why this is happening no more then 2 weeks ago i've added multiple contacts with no issues, however anyone i've tried to add within the last week or so hasn't worked. i went back to msn 7.5 untill i fully understand this situation thanks a lot. rob Same problem here. • Visual Studio Tools for Office HELP:Installing VSTO on Windows Vista with MS Office 2007 installed?

  The subject says it all, I am trying to install my VSTO Original Edition, I have Visual Studio 2005 Std. Edition installed, and that is not where the problem lies. I received the following error message: Office 2003 SP1 is not present; and the only thing I can do is exit the install. Then I had the bright idea to try VSTO 2nd Edition, but of course if you do not have VSTO installed, the minimum Visual Studio version is Professional, and as I stated above I only have the standard edition. Is there any work around, without say installing MS Office 2003, installing VSTO, and removing or upgrading Office or buying VS 2005 Pro. If anyone has an idea I would love to hear about it.   Dear All, I am reading through a datareader using a while loop. But in the loop in need to do some data processing. So the best is using a for loop.
