• Visual Studio Team System Team Explorer and Portal always request credentials

  Hello, I am having a problem with accounts I am adding to a TFS project. I have TFS installed as a single server and whenever I add an account to a project whether I make the account an Admin or contributer whenever that account is logged in and tries to open anything from the documents folder or run a report or visit the project portal, they are always prompted for a username and password. TFS accepts the password but prompts for it everytime they attempt to do any of the things previously mention. These are all domain accounts that are being added to the project. • SQL Server How to deploy a Package?

  Hallo I created my first Package and i am not able to deploy it in my SQL server. I created a Development Utility and in the OutputPath i got a *.dtsx and a *.SSISDevelopmentManifest file. When i run the packaage (*.dtsx) it works but when i try to install the package with *.SSISDevelopmentManifest it just genereates a folder in the selected Folder (...\Microsoft SQL Server\90\DTS\Packages\) and no more. What am i missing All the "Deployment" does is copy the *.dtsx files to the file system or MSDB on the target SQL server. You apparently selected "file system". It did exactly what it was suppose do. • Audio and Video Development Writing To Persistent Storage

  I've been working on this for what seems like an eternity now, but I can't get it to work. I want to be able to write an XML file to the persistent storage of an HD-DVD player. So far, this is what I have tried. - Going from the disc, to the filecache, then to the required storage. Failed when going from the filecache to the required storage. - Going straight from the disc to the required storage. Fails instantly. - Creating a file on-the-fly, and then going to the required storage. Fails again. I am placing the file inside of a folder in the required storage. The folder name is the content ID from the DISCID.DAT. The only thing that comes to mind is that the disc has to have AACS applied for it to work. I hope I am wrong on th ...Show All

  hello, I am creating a bar chart report which contains a datetime information on the x -axis. The unit of the x-axis value depends on the parameters value(StartDate and EndDate). For example, if the difference between StartDate and EndDate is > 2 years, say 4 years for instance, then the value of the x-axis should be presented on a yearly basis, like this: Hi Joel, That was not my question. • Visual Studio Express Editions Getting different data from the same table

  The title may be a bit weird, but I totally don't know what I should place as title :p. So... I have 2 listboxes(getting data from an ID data column) and 2 labels(getting data from an Name data column), they get their data from the same table. But when I change the selected index of one listbox the other changes too (ofc) but is it possible to make it so that the first listbox and the first label are 'connected' to each other so that when I change the selected index in the first listbox the first label changes it's data to that(and the second listbox doesnt change selected index and second label doesnt change data), and the same with the second label/listbox.   Hi, I have several problems with my tablet. The problems involved memory usage and throwing everything into a SYSTEM Idle Process. The insane memory usage was found in searchindexer.exe, keyboardsurrogate.exe, and tabtip.exe. The memory usage for searchindexer.exe tends to be between 94 to 184 megs. (although unrelated to this topic, tabtip.exe hovered around 24 megs except for strange spikes to 150 megs at which point the system would freeze and keyboardsurrogated hovers around 17 megs, but I've seen it at 83 megs.) I have been able to lock-up my tablet in less than a minute and within the execution of 1 program.   I'm able to build data sources and models through the reporting services web site for the local server that SSRS is installed. When I try to create data sources and models to other SQL Server installations (both 2000 & 2005) I recieve the following error message when trying to create the model: Cannot create a connection to data source ''.   I've got an ftp task that will be downloading a couple of files each night. today they're called blah20060830blah the date value in the middle changes each day. I'm trying to adjust this value with an expression. The expression doesn't want to cast my getdate function into a string that this property will accept. I know i'm missing something stupid. • Smart Device Development My SDK database does not refresh in IPAQ and How do I insert/edit/delete the data on the SDK database from the IPAQ?

  Hi, I have created a database on the desktop and deployed it to the IPAQ. From the IPAQ, using Query Analyzer, I can see the database. Great!! If I made changes on the database on the desktop, save all files and then deploy it again onto the IPAQ, the changes are not on the IPAQ. I would have to physically delete the database off the IPAQ and do a deploy for the new changes to reflect. I made sure the properties of the database "Copy to Output Directory" is set to "Copy if newer". Still cannot update. Also, when I open the database on the IPAQ with Query Analyzer, I cannot edit the data.
