SQL Server "Could not open SQLEVN70.RLL"
"Your SQL Server installation is eigher corrupt or has been tampered with (could not open SQLEVN70.rll). Please uninstall then re-run Setup to correct this problem." What do I do It says to uninstall/reinstall, but what DO I install I need a step-by-step procedure to follow to get rid of this. How did you fix it - I have the same problem. I am running af XP pro. I cant get windows live to work. I keep geting this error code:8004882c Anyone know what this error is Ok, I recieved the same error message when I downloaded the beta. This doesn't make any sense. I am trying to install SQL Server 2005 on SBS 2003 with Service Pack 1. According to Windows Update, there is nothing left for me to install. However, I am getting this error (while installing SQL Server Express and the Developer Edition): "Your operating system does not meet Service Pack level requirements for this SQL Server release. Install the Service Pack from the Microsoft Download Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/ LinkId=50380 , and then run SQL Server setup again." SQL Server Configure IIS for Reporting Manager and reporting server site
Dear All: My reporting manager and reporting server were working fine in IIS. But when I booted the system one day, one error message came "Unexpected error" for the IIS. So I removed the IIS and reinstalled he same. But after that, I tried to give virtual directories to reporting manager and reporting server sites. But it ain't working. I installed vs5, and upgraded from dx9 to dx 10 at the same time.... My app requires True Type Fonts, so convertingot XNA was a non starter.. I get this error. This pre-release version of DirectX has expired, please upgrade to the latest version from http://www.microsoft.com/directx If I uninstall dx10, and default back to the previously installed dx9 sdk will it work Thanks, Eric- Make sure that you have the latest DirectX sdk installed on your system, then you will need to make sure that the References are lined up to the correct versions. .NET Development Sql Query using function from vb .net 2003
Hi, I'm having trouble executing a SQL Query within the VB .net 2003. In this query i use functions declared as public in a VBA module of the Access Database. The query is properly executed with Access. But with vb .net, I get an error message saying that my function is undeclared. Do I need to open the Module before executing the sql query and if so how to do that from vb .net i'm a bit lost since 2 days. Thanks for your help. Thanks for the answer. Game Technologies: DirectX, XNA, XACT, etc. Texture Mapping Using 3ds Max for XNA Studio Express?
I am using 3ds Max 9.0 64-bit to create models for XNA Studio Express. I use the following process: 1. I create the model and apply texture in 3ds Max. 2. In 3ds Max I "Render to Texture" to creat a .tga texture file. 3. In 3ds Max the .tga file is shown in the Asset Tracking screen under "Maps / Shaders". 4. I "Export" the model to .fbx 5. I add the .fbx file to "Models" in my project and the .tga file to "Textures" After compiling and running the game, the model appears without the texture. I then tried creating an ASCII .fbx file in 3ds Max. I did not find a reference to the .tga file in the .fbx file. Does anyone know how I can generate this reference in 3ds Max ...Show All

I'm a n00b so please excuse my probable ignorace in advance... As I realized from the .NET CF2.0 SP1's marketing *it is* supported on Smartphone 2003 devices, isn't it ! If that's the case, then .NET CF 2.0 apps should be supported on Smartphone 2003 devices with CF 2.0 SP1 installed on them (their expansion cards to be more exact)... Why then after installing the SP1 patch isn't there an option to create a Smartphone 2003 CF 2.0 app in Visual Studio 2005 ! Visual Studio Team System Non-Developer Licensing Question
Hi We are about to start a new project and I am very keen to use Team Foundation and VSTS. We have 7 developers, so 7x VSTS Developer Editions and a Team Foundation Server license. No problems there. The problem is with testing. We have 12 people who do ad-hoc acceptance testing on our product before it is released. They are not a dedicated test team (they are actually support staff). They primarily run through manual functional test scripts that are managed outside of VSTS. They don't need any of the testing features in VSTS Test - all they need to be able to do is log faults. Unless I'm wrong there doesn't seem to be a way of just logging faults in Team Foundation without a Team System enabled client. I thought of extending the ...Show All
