• Visual C# Class names not being highlighted.

  This is probably a fairly easy question, and it might belong in a VS forum somewhere but I couldn't find a VS - General forum here. So since I'm coding in C#, I'll try here. I opened VS today and one of my files no longer has the class names highlighted in light blue. It still builds, the site works and everything, but VS doesn't seem to recognize any of the classes or references on that one page. It was fine yesterday, and other files in the web project work. Other files in the same folder work. It's just this one file. Any ideas I can specify in more detail if you need, but I didn't know if this was an easy fix or not.   Hey all, I've rolled my own version of the SpriteBatch to give myself a little more control (mainly to gain different diffuse colours per corner). However, I've found a problem: When I render the quads at a scale other than 1:1, the edges take colours from the surrounding areas. • Windows Forms How to set color of the splitter in SplitContainer control?

  Hi, I have a SplitContainer control on the form. I need to set color of the splitter, that even background color of all panels are white, splitter is visible anyways. I cannot find any property, which could do this. Is there is any way to set this Thanks The BackColor does what you want.  If you set the individual panels' BackColor values to something, then set the SplitContainer.BackColor property to something else it will give the appearance that the splitter has a different color.   Hello! Is there a way to get the color of the pixel under the mouse pointer I’m new with C#. This looks like it will be a nice platform to work with. I like to make 2D board games (Like RISK). I have worked in VB6. I need to be able to click on a land mass and identify it. And with the land masses I work with, they have very rough edges. • Software Development for Windows Vista Expanded Memory in Vista for DOS Applications

  A DOS application which requires expanded memory (EMS) is required to be run on Vista. In earlier releases the expanded memory could be set to auto using the command.com->properties->memory tab. Vista does not allow to change this settings due to security reasons. Is there a way of increasing the expanded memory to allow a huge DOS application to run in the Vista environment I wasn't able to edit the "_default.pif" either. I was able to change ownership of it, and give myself write permission, but that didn't help. Maybe booting into safe mode will help, but I have too many program open right now to try that. • SQL Server Apply ranking to a matrix report

  I'm developing a matrix report with a 2-level drilldown for the rows i.e. parent - ITEM-A, child - ITEM-B. I have added a group to display ranks for the ITEM-B group, which displays the ranks based on a custom function that I defined in the report. This rank group is also displayed along with the ITEM-B group when the ITEM-A group is expanded. So when I expand the first ITEM-A, it lists the ITEM-B's with the ranks eg. 1-30, but when I expand the second ITEM-A, the ITEM-B's are listed with the ranks continued eg. 31-40, and so on. I also have a custom reset function for the ranks, but I don't know where to apply this reset function. My question is that, I need the ITEM-B's to be ranked afresh for each ITEM-A. When I now work with the application I miss a custom window to handle the (very specific) configuration of some of my model classes. What I need is a tool like the DSL Details tool window so I want to ask if someone has already builds a similar think.   Hey all, great community here with loads of great information. I have been considering using XNA for a while, just saving the money to buy a new graphics card for the moment. I'm doing a Game Development degree and have to choose a development framework to use for my next project. The two main choices I narrowed it down to are Quake III and XNA. I guess you would gravitate toward XNA but I noticed there some really smart people here who like a good debate so could you help give me some great advice as to which to choose. I would pick Quake III because its more games industry oriented and would be great experience, also its a complete games engine, with graphics and map editor and AI all built in.
