  Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to compare the graphics power of XBOX360 to any of current gfx cards. Say, if it`s capable of rendering same amount of triangles as e.g. GF6800 does. The old XBOX was usually compared to GF3 in terms of graphics performance. The reason I ask is, that I would like to know the general boundaries of the raw gfx power, since I`m planning on converting some of my current games to XNA (and later to XBOX360) as soon as it becomes available. Currently I`m pushing the GF6800 card to its limits, which means I`m rendering a range of 0.5M-1.0M triangles (all unique, non-instanced) per frame and it seems that GF6800 starts to slow down when it crosses 1M barrier. • Visual C++ Compile Error List double-click to source code problem

  After I compile my solution and have errors, for some reason when I double-click on the error or warning it does not take me to the source code line that is indicated. This had worked earlier in my solution development but now it does not. How did I break this, and more importatntly how do I fix it Thank you. Basically when you double click on an “error” we just look at the text to find the source file name and line number and then jump to it.   Hi, I am having some trouble finding documentation on localization setting in the compact framework. Any help would be much appreciated. The application we are building ustilizes the Globalization.CultureInfo class to handle localized resources. We also use a ResourceManager to retrieve the text strings from a .resources file that is associated with a particular culture.   hi good day ppolz... i have a problem regarding installing my program to another computer. when i install my program it seems well ok but when it interact with the database it say's 'C:\Documents and Setting\Administrator\Desktop\login.mdb' is not a valid path'. what's the problem with that and also the database login.mdb i need to copy and paste it where the 'C:\Documents and Setting\Administrator\Desktop\login.mdb is thx in advance............ pinoyz, According to your problem, I guess you are using the Publish function and deployment your project with a setup file.   Hi,   I am trying to replace Paragraph in one FlowDocument with the paragraph in another one. We have 2 FlowDocuments. What I want to do is replace the Paragraph "X" from fd1 with Paragraph "Y" from fd2. I tried finding the paragraph "X" in fd1, which is attached to RichTextBox and then assign ref of "Y" to it, but it doesnt like it, as I can see no changes. Do let me know hw it could be achieved.   Hi guys. I had to migrate a Visual Studio 2003 application over to VS2005, to make it run under new devices with Windows Mobile 5.0. Did that, and can no longer upload files to an http server, *unless* the device is in the craddle under ActiveSync 4.1. Comm infrastructure and setup identical. Weird...   When I was using internet explorer 6, I had no trouble viewing the military ako website that i use daily. Since I have downloaded internet explorer 7, I cant get to the website.It gives me the following message: Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage Most likely causes: You are not connected to the Internet. The website is encountering problems. There might be a typing error in the address.   Hi, I am trying to mirror the databse with a witness server. I have sql server 2005 with SP1 or both my mirror and principle and sql express on my witness. The problem is when I click start mirroring, I get the following error The server network address"TCP://serveraddress:7026" can not be reached or does not exist. Check the network address name and that the ports for the local and remote epoints are operational. (Microsoft SQL server, error:1418) I have pinged the address it works fine . The telnet comes up with a blank screen. • Visual Studio Adding contents of textboxes on RDLC report

  I have an rdlc report that has two textboxes. The values of these textboxes are items received on time, and items late. This is caluclated using decision function and counting the rows that match. I have a third text box that I want to add the contents of textbox 1 & the second textbox. Currently I am recalulating using decision functions which seems a bit excessive when I alreay have the values sitting in other textboxes. Thing is I cant find the way to call the textboxes on the rdlc report. Using =textbox1.value + textbox2.value does not work.   Okay, this problem didn't happen the last time I installed VC# (some 6 months ago). Recently, I downloaded the VC# Express ISO (2 weeks ago), and installed it. But it hangs as soon as I create a new project.   I was working on an app with couple thread running. After deploying my app to the pocket pc and I run the app. but somehow after this action i was not able to delete or over the app. Every times the pocket pc say that my .exe is being used by another program. but i close all the running program in memory. take off the battery, turn off the device. you name it. It should shut down all the resource even some hidden threads. but apparently not. Anybody have an idea about this Well, apparently you are not shutting down your threads.
